I was wondering that as well with two fragments of debris with one "labeled" in English (msnbc) and one labeled in Arabic (fnc.). Funny how that worked out, eh?

I'm not familiar with the Silkworm or Ababil 100, but could they be set to explode in the air, over a target? Could they have been set to detonate at some height above sea level?

Newsmax is about as reliable a source on military matters as "Entertainment Weekly" is.
I've never seen anyone claim anywhere that Iraq has Sunburns. They're solely designed for launch from Sovremenny class destroyers, as well.

My guess is Russian or Chinese/NK surface-to-surface fired from either land or a small boat in the gulf.
Just a SWAG.

very interesting....

Yeah, I meant from a different launcher. How many missiles? If it went in the water was there a second one that hit the building?

Oh yes, because in their eyes, the Kuwaitis are no better than the "imperialist devil Americans" and the "zionists". Their belief is Kuwait deserves every atrocity commited on it for helping us.

Fox new saying the missile exploded "over the water", the water is only 20 yeards away, but there seems like an awful lot of damage. This would explain the lack of an impact crater. But this thing must have had a hell of a warhead on it.

FoxNews on the scene showing footage from the blast site at the Kuwaiti shopping mall. Evidently a movie had just let out. Anyway, you should see all the people walking out of the mall. Most of them were laughing, joking and in general appeared to be having a good old time.

CNN says it landed in a canal near the mall.
To: xm177e2
I think this debris may be the result of the collision of an incoming and a patriot. That would explain why there is no crater, and rocket fins found with both English and Arabic lettering.

No worries, John HK, I know your MO already and knew you'd be one of the first to respond. After all, China is wonderful and good, right? I knew all this and posted it anyway. Deal with it.

A good point made by reporter on CNN. The bad guys now have good coordinates for Kuwait City.
To: Semper911
But if there was a patriot intercept, wouldn't we already have some sort of a confirmation of that?
Perhaps the Iraqi's have missiles with both english and arabic writing on it? Perhaps it was produced outside of Iraq?
