If Iraq has Sunburns, our ships in the Gulf better watch out.

Anyway, my question is: if this WAS a missile, as Fox News is confirming now, what happened to the air raid warnings? Some have suggested that it was a Silkworm missile, at low altitude. If so, it might have been flying "under the radar". Nothing's perfect, you know.

Watching MSNBC and they have the witch from AlJerkzera on and she is sooo disgusting. You can see her loathing for the Kuwaiti people!

They may, judging by the anti-GPS hardware the Commies sold them, but I think they are just lobbing Al Samouds whenever they get a chance from somewhere around Basra.
Mobile Launcher hidden somewhere.

Do you know what kind of missile it could be? I'm at a loss.
To: mikegi
Would a Patriot have anything like that written on it? (Apparently there is a Patriot battery very near this mall.)
To: jwalsh07
Wonder if that missile has siblings that hit markets in Baghdad?

Ah. So I was correct. A joke posting.
Everyone? Can you stop it? Please?

I not an ordnance specialist, but the news people are saying it was an anti-ship missile. Short range, low altitude, no guidance.

Yes, we are all armchair experts :>)

Could one missile have been Iraqi and another a Patriot which was launched to intercept?
To: ET(end tyranny)
Eminently possible but from a different launcher Al Samoud B is good for about 110 miles, Baghdad is about 275 miles North.
To: Semper911
Hmmmm. Now to find out from whence it came...

According to Newsmax, they may as well have them:
Nuclear Arms race in Asia
Most notable:
"The Sunburn combines a Mach 2.5 speed with a very low-level flight pattern that uses violent end maneuvers to throw off defenses. After detecting the Sunburn, the U.S. Navy Phalanx point defense system may have only 2.5 seconds to calculate a fire solution not enough time before the devastating impact of a 750 lb. warhead
The Chinese proliferation is aimed at improving missiles inside Syria, Libya, Iran and Iraq

There's always the (slim, but real) possibility of malfunctioning Tomahawk.

Could one missile have been Iraqi and another a Patriot which was launched to intercept? That's what I am thinking. Just don't know, and might never know.

Could one missile have been Iraqi and another a Patriot which was launched to intercept?Absolutely, the Patriot could have hit late.

Russian cruise missle?
To: mikegi
Perhaps it is actually Italian writing. Someone swears they saw the word "fragile"...
Perhaps the work of the Al Bumpushounds?
