pMSNBC - Brian Williams is watching Kuwaiti TV and says local TV is "confirming" it's a missile. He also said he was in the mall 6 hours ago. Lot's of emergency vehicles...
To: AgentEcho

they could have been hair trigger w/ground crew, and it's retaliation for the massive bombing in Baghdad that occured about 20 minutes earlier. who knows? or perhaps it was a car bomb. still odd being at 2 a.m. local, the time of least amount of people out and about

Suddenly, Saddam loses all the PR advantage of the most recent market bombing in Baghdad.

Then perhaps post numbers 5 and 6 were correct afterall.

>It was low altitude anti ship missile. Radar didn't pick it up.
There had been a great concern that these missiles based on cargo ships could threaten US cities.

Reporter says that the movies let out about 1:30am, close to the time of the strike.
To: AmericanInTokyo
Agreed. Bizarre timing.
To: meyer
More recently, report from wire service is that it was a missile that hit. Per FOX.

Been following that for months. One country even had launchers situated on cargo ships to attempt a launch. That prompted the Rumsfeld comments last year.
