Economic decline was reversed and the economy stabilized as a result of the aggressive fiscal and monetary policies initiated by the Democrats. Huh? Last I checked, the economy during the Carter administration was so bad that a new economic term (stagflation) was invented to describe it. Prosperity returned once Reagan's tax policies went into effect.
Yeesh.

Truman acknowledged that Democrats in the South, to their disgrace, had long supported segregation. Over a decade later, President John F. Kennedy and the Democratic Party acted to completely end it....and if John F. Kennedy were alive today, he would puke on what the Democratic Party has become
"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country"
If this "writer" is saying that his party still follows this motto, then someone needs to reudce his medication....he's hallucinating..

Plenty of reasons to be a DemocratNo.14 - Just had a lobotomy; congratulate me.
No.15 - Just had another; elect me.

I love your picture. When an article makes me angry, your picture makes me see how silly, petty, and funny the democrats truly are... and I chuckle instead of cuss.

I'm amused. Which rules? The FR local 172 'amused' union will temporarily recognize you as a sub-honorary member. ;-)

You missed one...evil intent. It is implied in rebellion because the rebellion is against anything that stands in the way of hedonism.

Y'know, folks don't like being lectured on what they can and can't post from non-moderators, especially one without a valid link to "standards and practices." I avoid using more colorful metaphors in a family forum, but mhking's are well-used and appropriate for threads such as this, so pardon my coarse rebuff in the previous post. This "stuff" rubs me the wrong way, dude.

"The Securities and Exchange Commission, established by Democrats during the Roosevelt administration, safeguards the capital markets of this country, so Mr. Sorrell can invest with confidence." Safeguards? Yeah, right.

I find it quite amusing also. Here, especially, it is quite appropriately amusing.

Reagan did such a crappy job that he got re elected in a landslide, ended the Cold War, and got his vice president elected. And, very likely would have been re-elected to a third term had he been able to run.
