Why would little boys be wandering around in minefields (and not little girls)? Sounds more like Iraqi reprisal on a family for their refusal to bow to Saddamn's orders. A shotgun blast would do similar damage, and could be inflicted by the "civilian" Feyedeen.

Very possibly. In any event, I am very proud of our forces over there for doing their very best to save this child's life.

You can imagine what these poor doctors went through afterwards. It's hard enough patching up a young man in the service, or watching him die. But to fight to save a child's life and then be unable to save him is very hard to bear. Most of these folks are parents, too.

Rips your heart out to see this, but the blame lies squarely on Saddam Hussein--and those mealy-mouth European bastards who support his regime. Take a good hard look, all you "anti-war" peace faggots... all you cheese-sucking cornholin' French queers. YOU PANZI A-HOLES help Saddan Hussein perpitrate these kind of attrocities... That's right: Y-O-U.

(uarely on Saddam Hussein and)
But Kuwait won't take any Iraqis, not even an innocent child. Unfortunately, too many Freepers would applaud Kuwait's stance.

Sa-dam will have a special place in hell for all his atrocities --- that I do believe...

Why would little boys be wandering around in minefields (and not little girls)? In polygamist societies, you need more girls.

I heard about this on KGO radio on the Ronn Owens show. One of the embedded journalist, Greg Jarrod, was on the helicopter and held on to the boy during the flight. It was very dangerous because of the sand and wind, and they almost crashed into some towers.
Greg Jarrod also said that the Iraqi's were firing on the helicopter while they were trying to help the little boy and other Iraqis.
Greg Jarrods description of the event was very memorable. He sounds like a good American.
