Some of the marines probably have children at home...and wives. They want to come home to them. If they put youth out there and arm them...then they're legitimate targets. I have been reading too much war news. It's discouraging and depressing, even though I know in my head the news is slanted. They WANT it to look like the US is being defeated. I feel selfish wanting to avoid the news about the war when our soldiers are in the midst of it.

I'm a huge supporter of this war. If I were decade younger and the military would have me, I'd be right there with those in action. I believe I could pull the trigger on anything ... except a child. It's no wonder we're taking casualties: our soldiers are hesitating (just like I would) and their children aren't "mature" shots yet. My hearts go out to both groups. May God give our soldiers comfort, and may He open his arms in heaven to those children who "know not what they do". And, finally, may we bring some serious pain to those responsible.
