Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Ya know what, I think this guy handled the press even better than Rumsfeld does. I loved his response to that snotty Scottish reporter's crap about owing the British people precise operational details, "I'm slightly offended that you wound assume that of me."

Yep, he is very quick and always gets the better of the idiot reporters. I almost found myself hoping for a particularly stupid question so he could slam the reporter.

"ummmmmmm like....for sure....".. this stupid ass girl is saying that the people in iraq can rise up and choose to remove Hussein.

The Brit guy said basically, after a question, "I don't have those details because it just happened."
The next question from a Welsh(?) reporter was, "Don't you think that it will concern people that a commanding officer would resdong,"I don't do details."
Lord, those reporters are horrid, horrid, horrid. They will make my head explode, soon!!!

Isn't that hilarious. They are just as bad as the Feyedeen and the Iraqi monsters. I remember when I would go to the Jamaica Observer on a daily basis to get info regarding John Mohammad. They are probably upset that we shipped 12,000 of their degenerates back to them a few months ago.

I wish I could remember all those wonderful little phrases he uses, quintessential understated British wit.

Did you see the one with the bodies of the 507th Battalion (supply personnel)?

This is pretty cool
Stf. Sgt. John Coughlin aims a precision rifle with Pfc. Daniel Tracy's help during a patrol Wednesday in central Iraq. Both are members of the 3rd battalion 4th Marines.
