If the USA goes into Iraq and tries to obey international guides of war, we will loose, indeed. Because Iraq is hiding weapons in hospitals, homes, schools, and offices not intended for that purpose. If we allow Iraq to carry on communications and propaganda, as if nothing has happened, yes, we will loose. If we try to protect the infastructure and civilians, yes we will loose, for the military is mixed in with the civilians. The Iraqis are not stupid, and if we loose, it is because we are stupid, and do not know how to play the game their way, for that is the way that they are going to play it. And Iraq does not mind us playing stupid. We try to follow guidelines and they do not. So this is getting very, very serious.

Here is why he is wrong:

In Vietnam we could not extract ourselves without the South falling.

In Iraq we can, if we want to, kill the regular Iraqi army, kill the RG, destory any WMD they have, and set up a new goverment.

Then we can leave.

Even if it falls into chaos and anarchy after that it doesn't affect our ability to leave.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that is the best thing to do, but we can "get out" if we want to, having met our objectives.

If an article's title is altered from it's original design, it makes it impossible to do a search for that article, which will result in multiple postings of the same article with simply a different title.

Imagine for a moment if everybody here decided to change the original title of any given article to one that they thought was more salacious, humorous, graphic or whatever....

....the majority of your time would be spent opening up cleverly titled articles that have the same content within.
