All cables reporting Iraqi citizens fighting back in Basrah and the British are there.

Sounds like the Baath party is bombing and shooting the Iraqi citizens to try to quell the uprising.

Yup. I posted way back on this thread that the MSNBC reporter up at the border had video of Iraqis leaving a restaurant after eating and viewing war coverage and were heading back to help. One destination mentioned: Basrah. I've a hunch they'll head elsewhere, but hopefully intercepted before they arrive anywhere. The reporter mentioned "hundreds" returning to help "the resistance" (to us).
