Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

"Hmm..Naseriah again? I'm beginning to think we need a few more forces there for a little while to get this under control once and for all." I agree. Just think, the guys up near Baghdad facing the RG haven't had a decent nights sleep in at least five days. They must be exhausted.

I wonder if anyone has covered the topic of the so called mole that led to the first strike in this war. It was said then we had a mole very close to Saddam's inner circle. Do you figure he was found out, still cooperating, or the figment of someones imagination?

Thank your husband for his service (and thank you for yours too)....(I think you said your husband was in the service previously) but there are plenty of other places here on FR to find humor....(like the belly girl thread created elsewhere...LOL.) When a thread ends up with 3-5000 posts....getting through the "chatter" to the "meat" is difficult....I hope you understand.

Shep described it as "force was strong enough to rock buildings in center of Baghdad". Must have been quite a drop there. Way to go guys!

Since you spend so much time talking about FNC maybe you should ask them to hook you up with one of those I LOVE YOU deals with your soldier that they just showed. They do read free republic, you know ;-)
To: aristotleman
I believe they're already unloading the ships in Southern Kuwait..which is where the reserve soldier that died in the vehicle accident today was located.
