Troop Prayer Thread 3

A number of us have recently decided to form an active prayer circle here to pray for our Troops. We have many fine young men and women known to us here at FreeRepublic.com serving in the Army, Navy, Marines, Airforce and Coast Guard. Several on our troop list to date actually are registered in the forum, and have become known to us personally among the constellation of Freepers.

If you would like to submit someone for our list, you are welcome to do so at any time. Post their name or pseudonym here on the thread or freepmail amom or myself. If we have made any errors, please let us know so that we may correct the list. We will be making periodic updates.

We invite everyone, active Freepers and Lurkers alike to join our circle in prayer for these fine men and women who have volunteered to place their lives on the line for the defense of our nation and for the liberation of the oppressed peoples of other nations. To them we send our greatest respect and gratitude. We send them our prayers and good thoughts. We ask for God's blessing upon them and their families.

For those of us who have somewhat limited computer capacity, we request that graphics be limited to pictures of loved ones for whom we are offering prayers, special visuals that seem particularly approprieate, and non-moving graphics. Thank you.

You are welcome for the prayer and those which continue. Thank you for coming by with your own prayer. Amen to seeing Chris, all helicopter pilots, and all our troops through the dangers and back home again victoriously.

Thank you, potlatch! I think I am not the only one here who has the vision of the Lord and His angels clearing the way before our troops because of the millions of prayers from prayer warriors here and throughout this nation and the world. Glory to God in the highest, for the earth IS the Lord's and the fullness thereof!

We are praying for them daily. I've come face to face with POW's in my job in the military. Art was medivac pilot and has a vivid memory of war too,..I can't tell you how gutwrenching this is for us both and we would do ANYTHING to save these men and woman. If only there was something, we feel so helpless. We are left to pray for them, and believe that PRAYER is EXTREMELY POWERFUL!! We pray that they are not being tortured, that the Red Cross will be in there soon.

We are so proud of them, and pray for their safe and speedy return to their families and all of us. We are so proud of ALL our troops!! Vets

Thank you so much for bringing to us a list of the captured troops in your post 87, and for leading us in prayer on their behalf. We appreciate your helping us by keeping track of this area of concern.

Thank you for your generous words in your post 92, FrogMom. We join you in your prayers for our troops. Thank you for helping us keep track of our troops who are reported captured/MIA. By God's grace, that list wont grow too long.

Thanks once more for your scripture references and your prayers, maestro. What a wonderful idea about having churches throughout the nation ringing their bells at set times! Wonder how that could be made to happen?

Thank you for your prayers, tiki! I agree with you that with the hard fighting in front of us, our prayer bullets for the troops will be very critical.
