Red Cross is ticked about Gitmo because they do not have any authority. They are not classified as POW's and are not covered by the Geneva articles.

I recall that when I was in the Army, one of my section sergeants was...well, he was a sick puppy. He came up with a new set of rules to follow when dealing with prisoners of war. I can't remember all of them, but the ones I do remember... (Warning: this is gross)

"To save precious resources for your fellow US soldiers, be sure to conserve on such things as water and rations. Should an enemy POW become thirsty, have him drink urine, preferably his own."

"To get an enemy POW out of an area and to the rear, make sure to tie them to the back of a truck. Go as fast as you need. If they can't run that fast, it's his problem, not yours."

"When interrogating a POW, note that the proper application of severe pain will go a long way in information gathering."

Anyway, it was along those lines. He was a disgusting individual.

Saddam's live speech was determined to be a tape which was edited 57..oops 67 times.

Yesterday the war was stalled...today the market took a dive

The press finally used the fatal word quagmire (geez..four whole days!!!)

Torie showed up with a very subtle patriotic jacket

Helen didn't comb her hair and wore a hideous orange sweater...it was determined she had never had sex because 'war takes more than two hours'!

Belly Girl showed up and the men are in a frenzy.....
