Wolf Blitzer just asked Donald Rumsfeld on live global television these 2 questions:
Don't you feel that broadcasting the tape of the POW's would bring comfort to their families Wolf and those back home?
How do you expect to win the hearts and minds of Iraqi's while terrorizing them with the shock and awe like American forces did the other night?
Wolf Blitzer needs to be Freeped like never before. No wonder CNN is literally the flagship network for ANSWER.Wolf is a total bastard.

Permit me to repost something
I noted Friday about Wolfie, and then tell me - is anyone surprised?
This afternoon, CNN's Wolf Blitzer interviewed at length a so-called journalist on the scene in Bagdhad, one May Ying Welsh by name. A simple google search reveals that she is affiliated with Ramsey Clark's International Action Center, Not in Our Name and other Communist front organizations.
This may explain why, instead of simply describing what was happening, she was railing angrily about how many civilians would die and claiming that the U.S. hadn't hit any Iraqi govt. buildings of significance. She even implied that no govt. officials even were there, just low-level people and "cleaners," i.e., the night janitor! Needless to say, Wolfie didn't mention her obvious bias, just presented her report as fact.
Iraq kicked out CNN, but they have no problem with Ms. Welsh. And CNN has no problem presenting propaganda as fact.

I saw the interview as well and I was extremely insulted at Blitzer's comments. ABC and CNN have taken an ALJAZEERA approach to war reporting. They are both traitors to America.

Screw Wolf Blixer.
Just one more reason why I V-chipped CNN.

I've seen lots of close up pictures of Iraqi prisoners in our POW camps. Is it illegal to show them like this or is it just against the law to show them being interrogated? If it's against the law to photograph them for use on TV and in magazines isn't that a violation of the law also?
Second early this morning I saw some of the tape of our troops being forced to answer questions. They are now all saying that they won't show the tape because a. it's wrong and b. the families haven't been informed. Which networks showed the video of the prisoners?

For us to air the tapes of the POWs would not only NOT provide comfort to the family, but it may even violate terms of the Geneva Convention.I emailed Fox News, said virtually the same thing and that I applauded them for NOT showing the video.

Thanks for the email here is what I just wrote.
I rarely watch CNN because if its obvious liberal bias. I only watched because you were interviewing Rumsfeld. What kind of stupid question was that? That showing footage of a loved one as a POW would give COMfORT?!!! Why are you questioning Rumsfeld like he is a hostile witness? You are a pompous idiot, wish you were a human shield to a Hussein presidential palace. No wonder Fox News is kicking your butts.

"Those who wake up in the morning and look into the mirror only to be disappointed that they are still the same person that they were the previous day!" Well, lots of us are disappointed they're still the same people they were yesterday, too.
Bingo!
Exactly my point.
You suffer from JJS.

There is a good chance that the media is turning against the war and starting to lead the charge towards defeat. NEVER NEVER underestimate the power of the left.

What I yelled at the TV, at Blitz cannot be repeated here. SHIDIOTS. They think they are "reporters for of the world" when they owe their life and allegiance to the United States of America. Makes me sick....and I ususally don't watch...but my husband has control of the remote on weekends.

I liked how Rumsfield made him look really dumb, when he replied that again I say Geneva convention states that POWs should not be shown on tv being humiliated.

Wolf Blitzer is a known quantity. Rummy did not have to grant an interview. It was his choice.
After this experience of taking the press along for the ride, I sure hope that the military has learned its lesson. They should revert to the press pool method of disseminating information.

He just kept answering Wolf with what the objective of the mission is. He did not pander to his arrogant liberal bias.

Time to freep CNN with emails about Wolf Blitzer's ridiculous assertion that showing the video tape of the POWs being executed would be
comfort to the families.I am so outraged I can barely think straight.
