Permit me to repost something I noted Friday about Wolfie, and then tell me - is anyone surprised?

This afternoon, CNN's Wolf Blitzer interviewed at length a so-called journalist on the scene in Bagdhad, one May Ying Welsh by name. A simple google search reveals that she is affiliated with Ramsey Clark's International Action Center, Not in Our Name and other Communist front organizations.

This may explain why, instead of simply describing what was happening, she was railing angrily about how many civilians would die and claiming that the U.S. hadn't hit any Iraqi govt. buildings of significance. She even implied that no govt. officials even were there, just low-level people and "cleaners," i.e., the night janitor! Needless to say, Wolfie didn't mention her obvious bias, just presented her report as fact.

Iraq kicked out CNN, but they have no problem with Ms. Welsh. And CNN has no problem presenting propaganda as fact.

You are so right. I saw that "report" yesterday as well and all she did was complain about civilian casualties and say how scared she was. This little lib has been making videos for Internaional ANSWER for some time now, it appears. They used her videos to attack the sanctions and blame the 400,000 Iraqi deaths on the US and UN. Not a word about Saddam's participation in these deaths.

What's amusing is that the very people who blamed the sanctions on all these deaths...and called them useless, are now the one's who claim to support more sanctions instead of war. Excuse me! If sanctions have caused this much death and destruction as they say, war may even be a more compasionate ending to this story. While I can't say for sure, I doubt will see anywhere near 400,000 deaths. The duplicity of these people is astounding...and the fact that CNN is using her as an inside source, speaks volume about their position.
