Looks like what the Pentagon stated about the Russian GPS devices aren't preventing them from bombing Bagdad...

I don't know why it did that :). I'm still not html and computer proficient.

Since our 'guys' were butchered in irag, I think more citizens should rise up and INSIST that the LEO's start a massive crackdown on those anti's.
I'm just so outraged, I cannot form many intelligent thoughts. God help me/hold me back, if I run across any anti's protesting. I'll be ready to beat them to bloody pulps for supporting the butchers of bagdad.
I know, shame on me.

A friend just told me she looked at them and wished she hadn't.

Yes, their "Tag line" should be "Don't confuse me with facts, my mind's made up!".

The press seems somewhat subdued at the CentCom briefing right now.
To: marajade
If that's true, I've got a suggestion for him:
Since they won't let you fight in Iraq, take the fight to Hollywood - you'd do wonders for the morale of our troops if you'd punch Alec Baldwin, George Clooney, or Sean Penn right in the mouth!

Sorry, can't recall specifics. Just now getting back on this thread after doing battle on the vanity regarding the dead POW's. Emotions are very high since I'm only a few miles from Fort Bliss today.

Watching the war on Iraq, the thing that keeps coming to mind is how terrible a World War would be with the weapons available today. Remember the Russians have piles of Nukes laying around.
Best to whip these countries economically. The new world order should include Spain, Britain, Poland, and the rest of those who joined the 'coalition of the willing'.
I just hope President Bush doesn't give in to those who wnat us to go back to the UN for a resolution on rebuilding Iraq. I say we organize this on our own, and tell France, Russia, Germany, and the rest of the nay-sayers to not even BOTHER having any of their companies bid for Iraqi oil or reconstruction projects. (Read the last half of Charles Krauthammer's article at
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagename=article&node=&contentId=A14219-2003Feb27¬Found=true for his excellent suggestions on how to deal with the French.)

CK has been on a role. As for personally, I'm boycotting everything from those nations. I'll grow my own damned food if necessary. The "new world order" shold be renamed. It should be the Alliance for Freedom. And it should include all of the nations you listed plus.

You have it exactly right about Saddam keeping the oil money (he actually put it into his military).
Yet, when faced with 5,000 children each month dying as a result, the media blames the US for the embargo.
Try a search for terms 5000, children, Iraq, month, and dying on Google, and you will get dozens of hits spouting the same liberal line of garbage. Not one points out that the money is there and the deaths are Hussein's responsibility.

I know, it's pathetic.
I was just on another thread that say's according to ABC Radio (Batchelor and Alexander) all the leadership is dead except for the Ministry of Defense (the only guy that's been on TV. Here's hoping.
Interesting we have four executed POW's. One for each of the leadership killed?

If there were to be any protests outside Fort Bliss tomorrow, it would take more than a few police to restrain their friends (and others who knew them and the unit) from taking out their anger on the protesters. There is a time for free speech, but this time and place are not it. No, there won't be protests, but I'd bet anything, there will be a vigil, flowers and candles.
(I tear-up every time I think about this; I was an officer in country in Viet Nam, and I know how I would have felt if this had happened to members of my unit or to personnel from my base. My anger would be very close to the breaking point. I imagine Fort Bliss commanders are issuing orders and reminding troops how to cope with this news. God bless them all.)

God Bless them. But it won't protect the 5 o'clock "let's tie traffic up" protesters in our city. There will be hell to pay if they show up tommorrow. (And a good time to be a dentist)
