They're bringing accordians.

Hahaha! Seriously they cannot be allowed into Iraq, because they will try and destroy evidence.

Any De Pews found in Iraq should be shot on site! I think the only technological development they will be providing is a chemical to whitewash all documents concerning their connection with WMDs and Iraq. Get them the hell out of there! We do not need or want their help! They are the Socialist ENEMY!

France is sending personnel and equipment to Qatar, per an agreement they made on March 16.

France sends chemical detection unit to Qatar

PARIS, March 22 (Reuters) - France, a staunch opponent of war in Iraq, said on Saturday it would send personnel and chemical, bacteriological and nuclear detection equipment to Qatar, fulfilling a defence pact with the emirate.

The French defence ministry said the move followed a request from Qatar, host to the war command centre of General Tommy Franks, overall controller of U.S. and allied forces, and a visit to the emirate on March 16 by Defence Minister Michele Alliot-Marie.

The deployment, to leave on Saturday, was a result of "defence agreements and to respond favourably to all requests from Qatar to ensure the protection of its territory and population," the ministry said in a statement.

A spokesman said 39 personnel and at least four vehicles were in the army's nuclear, bacteriological and chemical unit, based in Draguignan in southern France.

They would help with detection and possible decontamination.

Alliot-Marie said during her visit to the Qatari capital Doha that in the event of war, France was ready to help Gulf countries with which it has defence pacts to protect themselves, for example from chemical attack.

Please adjust the title: The French are not going into the battlezone, they are instead merely flying into Qatar.

France's "what about me?!" behavior is comical...

Rummy should say: "France, you are irrelevant. Stay out of the way."
