Give it to Blix -- let him inspect it personally.

So that is a launcher only? - It looks like a full missle to me. obviously, a missile... i'm assuming it's a mobile launcher platform being pulled by the truck...

If this story is discredited, I'll expect your public apology. The "story" won't be discredited. Bob Arnott reported the finding of the white powder. The story is true.
Whether or not the powder is anthrax is not the issue.
Arnott said what he said.

Maybe Dyson is Bagdaschle! Part of the anti-FR propoganda effort. He's got his new AlGore Signature Model PowerBook Mac, called in with his dial-up access that he got free with his Danny Glover loving MCI calling plan. His cheetos-covered fingers are pecking away like a crack-addled chicken on the keyboard. Go Dyson Go!

I believe our guys have had the anthrax vaccine. Don't know about the Brits or Aussie's.
Yes, my son and his unit have had their anthrax shots, smallpox shots and others. He is not deployed yet and you can bet the soldiers already on the ground have had their shots.

Bob Arnot is a very well-known medical doctor....and we all know MD's are always right.
To: bonesmccoy
OK, my days of college microbiology are long behind me- but it still seems to me that this "powder" could be Gram's-stained and at least identified as being consistent with Bacillus anthracis spores or just lactose or talcum powder.
To: Jewels1091
"But BLIX said they didn't have any!!!!" To be correct, Blix said Iraq may have WMD's AND they may not.

Whether or not the powder is anthrax is not the issue. This said under the title of a thread which reads, "IRAQI SOLDIER CAPTURED WITH ANTHRAX & INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO KILL COALITION SOLDIERS".
I cease to be amazed.

LOL! '20 people on FR monitoring MSNBC have already reported the story (most of their audience)
Actually, their coverage is suprisingly good. They have a 'wall of bravery' where you can send in a picture of your serviceperson to amerciasbravest@msnbc.com

I'm certain the FBI will quickly nab the disaffected American loner white scientist responsible.

Since people are criticizing you for posting this, I will say thank you. I don't have a TV here and these updates are helpful. All you have reported is that you saw a guy on TV say something--and people are at your neck demanding proof and evidence and whatnot--the only proof you need is that other people said they saw the same thing. You don't have to prove Saddam has Anthrax. Pathetic. Thank you.

Good to see you on the thread, TGS, I always thought your posts re anthrax were entertaining and interesting, even if I wasn't convinced...however, you are a man of courage and honor...there are a lot of folks who have gotten into "flame" wars about issues that just disappear. I would say you retain your credibility because you have that courage, your expertise on the issue of bio warfare was/is never in question.
To: SMEDLEYBUTLER
Agreed, it's a SAM. It isn't a banned item.

Whether or not the powder is anthrax is not the issue.IF there were directions on how to use it to kill people, I'd be a little inclined to think it was something hazerdous to ones health.
