I don't think we can extrapolate from the French Quebecois to the rest of Canada. From what I hear, many in Anglo-Canada are not very fond of Quebec.

And I don't think Chretien necessarily represents the rest of Canada either.

It is wrong to include every province in Canada as one entity. The governor of Alberta came out supporting the Iraq invasion and condemned Cretien as being an idiot. Canada is similar to the United States as being divided by the more conservative rural areas versus the socialistic metropolitan population centers.

I dunno.

They deserve some general criticism so that pressure is applied to the gov from all the citizenry.

We do need to make clear however, that the Cretin Government is the primary irritant. The people did elect him though.

Canada is as diverse as America.

Bezerkley and San Fran are the equivalent of the Frenchies in Canada.

I was going to vacation in Montreal this summer. Not anymore. I will spend my "evil" American dollars in the U.S., where it belongs. Plenty to see here, and we don't have to speak a dying language.

Yes, I have recently changed my opinion about the secession of Quebec. I think if they were all in one place, the would not be as irritating.

Kinda like Kalifornicate.

We should allow them to rejoin Mexico.Keep the northern part however.

The French in Quebec must have always resented that the rest of Canada never gave them the chance to surrender to Germany.
