Where is Rep. King from in Iowa? or...where is our rally in Iowa?

His district covers about the western third of the state.

Our Rally for America is today at 2:30 on the Iowa State Capitol west steps.

I'm sorry, I thought you asked, "Where is Iowa?"

It's still SW of Michigan, however.

That all depends on what the meanis of "is" is?

LOL! I was going to give directions but with all of the hog farms in Iowa, thought I better not.

Once saw an Ohio State U. fan with a t-shirt that said, "Directions to Ann Arbor: Go North Until You Smell It, Then West Until You Step In It."

See ya on the Mall.

Rep King is from Kiron, however the large cities in his district are Sioux City and Council Bluffs. He is a freshman congressman, and won the Republican primary via a convention, strangely enough. Due to redistricting there was no incumbent in the district. Four guys ran, and none got more than 40%, so it had to go to a convention.

With much political theatre, he ended up winning. The delegates voted, and if no one had a majority, the bottom vote getter dropped off. There was a vote of 4 guys, then three, then down to the final two. That was the race there, the D challenger in the general was no challenge.
