Watching FoxNews at 5:00 Pacific, they go to German reporter Chris Jumpelt who is in Baghdad. The video that is showing with his voice is being take from a car on a highway (3 lanes each way looks like). The car shooting the video passes a small flatbed truck and shows this truck first from the rear and then the side. The truck is pretty clearly carrying a missile of some sort. The missile is covered with cameflouge netting but the fins at the bottom can be clearly seen.
As the car goes alongside the truck, the video goes black. The discussion was about the black smoke rising above Baghdad. None of the Fox & Friends talking heads remark on what was shown on the screen.

DATA PLATES on French, German, Chinese, N. Korean & Russian spare parts and equipment will show the serial number, DATE, place & source of manufacture.
This will be a smoking gun for all to see, as evidence those countries violated the bans in trade to Iraq.
PLEASE USE IT GEORGE!

They just showed the missile and truck on FNC. SCUDs are twice as big as the missile on that truck. They indicated that it was a SAM of some kind.

As I type this I can't help but think: we've got Fox news doing recon in Baghdad... AND that reporter who shot that video was in grave danger while he was shooting that video...

You're wrong. The commentator said "that looks like some sort of anti-aircraft missile"
I don't know which news station you were watching, but on FOX the commentator clearly said, " It appears to be a surface to air missile.
To: dagoofyfoot
Okay, surface-to-air, anti-aircraft, okay.

(Don't believe every tagline you read - including this one)

Ummm, 99.5% sure he said surface-to-air

The only thing the picture does is confirm my observation. The vehicle sitting next to the scud apears to besome kind of a duel axle simialr in size to a big flat bed. There is no other frame of reference to measure the size of the missile. Basicly it looks just like what I saw.

Could it be a SA-5 Gammon? It loks like there might be two of them on this rig.
