Protestors Draw Many Jeers, Few People [Drivers throw garbarge at peaceniks!]

The war protestors in Sarasota drew angry flak from dozens of drivers who passed-including some who think that the anti war rallies should have stopped when the first bomb dropped in Baghdad.
Similar rallies were held across the United States on Thursday. In Sarasota and Manatee counties they didnt go well at all.
In Venice the peace march at 41 Highway and Venice Avenue ended after an hour when someone in a passing vehicle threw garbage at one of the protestors. Piles of signs with no hands to hold them lay at the curb.
No one showed up for a rally that was planned in Bradenton.

Instead of Starbucks (who BTW, charged NYC firefighters for bottled water on 9/11) the perfect thing to throw at them would be what they keep begging for...

Well...good for your Bride. We drove past the protesters in Eugene Oregon last night.
And, of course it was the usual suspects, the same anarchrists, college age people, and other unemployables that haunt every protest.. None of whom have a modicum of history in their background.
All looked filthy and wearing black.
We kept the windows rolled up so that the odors wouldn't get to us.
The protests were well organised over the Country.

From the story. Caption:
From left, Kindra Muntz, Henry Bright and Beverly Gosnell had their pick of many unused signs at the Sarasota peace rally Thursday.

I'm almost sad that we live in an area with no protesters (we are quite pro-America and pro-military around here).
I'm suggesting super soakers, loaded with plain ol' water (of course, some washable dye might not be a bad idea either). A CPS super soaker has an amazing range (at least thirty feet), and the smaller ones can be used pretty easily one-handed. I got mine back in '98, and it still rocks. Just imagine a drive-by soaking of these idiots :)))))

Blocking traffic is NOT the way to get the commuter on your side. Yes, it's very annoying when someone who has never held down a job or paid their own bills makes you late or miss work.

"Bedraggled" is right - I just walked by the "big" peace rally in Seattle, in Westlake park. Maybe 200 very wet, very depressed-looking people with an occasional couple like me, striding by, heads held high and obviously not one of the morally upright. A line of Seattle cops looking bored and mildly irritated. That was about it.

What if they threw a war protest, and nobody came? Liberation is Healthy for Children and Other Living Things.

Fill it with something like Ivory Liquid, and you'll see a show akin to vampires being exposed to daylight!

I wish I could say the say the samething around here. I live in the east bay across from San Francisco and here you have Oakland and Berkley which is anti republican, anti Bush and anti war. I have old glory flying out front as well as a Naval flag in honor of my son and the libs hate it...:) You are lucky my friend if you do not have to put up with these idoit protesters and the wierdo liberals.

Bring a can of pepper spray, and a "FRY MUMIA" sign. The sign has proven to be a foolproof draw. When one of the LEFTIST idiots tries to take it away, NAIL HIM. MWAHAHAHAHA!
