Is anyone up for a pro-troop, pro-America counter protest in the Concord or Manchester New Hampshire area?
I know it's short notice, but the NH peace crowd will be meeting in Manchester tomorrow.
Check out the NH Peace Response web site for details about their activities.

How about next week?
I would like to link up with like minded folks and have some good clean fun supporting our troops.
A New Hampshire friend of mine is stationed on the USS Kitty Hawk, we communicate via email on a regular basis.
Chris really would love to see some digital pictures of good people like us supporting the troops.
This is my first time posting, any help from fellow New Hampshire freepers would be a very good thing! :)
FYI: WGIR-AM Manchester is in the planning stage of a Glenn Beck Rally for America.
The Beck rally could take a couple weeks to put together, I want to organize some smaller pro-troop events now.
What say you New Hampshire?

Once you have a time and place to meet, don't forget to register your event with the Rally for America at
www.freeper.org. We're seeing a flood of people who are looking for Rally events in their areas, so you might well have a larger crowd than you expect.

I might be able to make it, too! I've just shot off a message to a few friends, also.

Sign me up! I'll try and get as many patriots as I can get. My convoy will leave Laconia at about 1030. Hooyah!

(I can follow directions, but don't ask me to give you directions if you really want to go there!)

Yes, look for the flags, I will try to have a Free Republic sign of some sort in plain sight.
Veteran's Park is on Elm Street, near the arena. Take the Granite Street exit.
See you there!

Well Mr. Scott... was a pleasure to meet you in Manchester! You'd be proud to know, Carlos and I shut the other side down! They had considerably more force in sheer numbers than we did, but we outlasted them. The last of their group left around 3:50. Carlos and I stuck it out a bit past 4, still getting excellent feedback from the traffic, honking, giving thumbs up and waving. Sometime later this evening, my husband will take the pictures off the camera, and I'll post them to the thread.
BTW, before she left, I asked young Meg, the Irish lass who began on the "no war" side, where she stood, opinion-wise now. I was pleased to hear her say that although she'd been pretty sure she was against the war when she arrived, she was not so sure anymore. I think the experience Carlos related about what life under a dictatorship is really like made a big difference in her considerations! One by one conversions, from blind follower, to critical thinker! Works for me!
