Radio Free Republic to Broadast Live from Saturday "Rallies for America"!

Radio Free Republic will broadcast LIVE from rallies across the nation on Saturday, March 22! We will be moving pretty quick, catching primary speakers and doing "man in the street" interviews. If you would like your rally to be part of the broadcast, here is what we will need.

1) Your rally time shedule, speakers and your time zone. We will try to catch as many keynote speakers as possible.

2) A rally contact for RadioFR and a cell phone number.

3) If one of your speakers is chosen, you will need to get one of those lapel type mics that connect via micro jack to your phone. They can be picked up at Radio Shack for less than $20. Do not get one that is a combination mic and earphone in the earpiece. It needs to have a separate mic and earpiece on one wire so the speaker doesn't have to stick it in their ear.

4) Your RFR broadcast contact will need to be prepared to walk around and do a few interviews with rally attendees, organizers, etc.

5) Keep in mind there will be cell phone costs for the call. See if someone has a good long distance plan. Expect anywhere fro 15-45 mins. A .05 plan will only be a couple of dollars.

6) As one event gets broadast, we will cue up the next on the other line.
