What song should the Air Cav play as they storm Baghdad?

Remember the scene in "Apocalypse Now" where the Air Cav attacks the Vietcong village, and "Ride of the Valkyries" is blaring from a speaker on the lead copter? I was wondering what songs would be apropos for this war? Any good ideas? I thought a good one would be "The End" by The Doors.

Anyone mention "We're through being cool" by Devo? Just pulled it up. Great lyrics. Kinda leaves a lump in your throat...

Awsome! Good call! It's better than what I would say- The Uruk-Hi theme from Lord of the Rings. But upon reflection the Uruk-Hi in the movie were just big ugly guys that fell down dead too easily so definately Holst!

The deguello or the bugle call meant to signal no quarter to the men of the Alamo. That would be altogether fitting.

Doh ! I posted too soon...Gary Owen it is...

Let Bacchus' sons be not dismayed
But join with me, each jovial blade
Come, drink and sing and lend your aid
To help me with the chorus:

Chorus

Instead of spa, we'll drink brown ale
And pay the reckoning on the nail;
No man for debt shall go to jail
From Garryowen in glory.

We'll beat the bailiffs out of fun,
We'll make the mayor and sheriffs run
We are the boys no man dares dun
If he regards a whole skin.

Chorus

Our hearts so stout have got no fame
For soon 'tis known from whence we came
Where'er we go they fear the name
Of Garryowen in glory.

Chorus

Aah, another Freeper Priest fan.

Yep! After growing up in NYC playing with sharp things since 5th grade, I consider "The Sentinel" my personal theme song.
