Following the Presidents message to the world last evening, one of the Major Media's Geriatric Three(in his mid to late 60's, along with The old media guard of Rather and Jennings),Tom refered to the President as delivering an ulimatum to Hussein and his "kids".
Still rocked by the 2002 Presidential Election outcome when the Network Three lost to GWB and not so fresh from private limosine service to Black Rock, Tom quickly realised his very poor choice of words (obviously a hold over from the Clinton "for the children"/"for the kids" era now in tatters). He quickly reminded the primetime network viewership that perhaps they were no longer kids but grown men efficient in murder rape and torture.
Fortunately the Brokaw will leave the network, yet not quickly enough, to make way for the super loqaciuos Brian Williams, who is now the Guiness World Record holder for underwater breath holding.

Tom who?

I instantly caught this slip-up. Is Brokaw living in the present? Has he transported himself to Gulf War I??
I was screaming at the telelvision when he said "kids."
Thankfully, he caught himself pretty quickly, but the faux pas was glaring.

Hoy freaking
cr@p. It must be Freudian appreciation and sharing excrements in kindergarten. These people cannot be reformed, I repeat, LOCK THEM UP.
To: Helms
"Kids" is probably easier to say with his speech impediment.

Geraldo was referring over and over to bin Laden's sons as "kids" when the search was on for them last week. It really grated on me everytime he said it. The "kids" probably pack heat and would kill their hunters without batting an eye.

That wasn't my impression. I think his brain actually caught up to his bias. That is, his own gag reflex kicked in moments after his flippant bias-revealing reference to Uday and Qasay as "kids." He knew he was going to be busted and jumped it fast to defuse the storm. It was incredibly stupid and unprofessional, but a testament to his power in the media that no one outside of the Free Republic called him out on it.
