Paula Zahn just read a story that in a conversation with between French and administration representatives it was stated that the French govt would consider everything changed if Iraq uses chem/bio weapons. Said that if this occurs the French would be willing to send anti-chem war support ASAP.

Why make such an outlandish statement? The French have guaranteed that Iraq has not WMDs. End of story.

This is just plain childish. Looks like Jacques-Ass's attempt to make himself look important has backfired, and now he wants to avoid the humiliation of being on the wrong side of this.

The French, in Iraq...why not? It would be good to have someone with 'lots of experience' available to teach the Iraqis how to surrender!

In truth this is cover their ass mode because they have already said Saddam doesn't have WMD. By "fighting by our sides" they bring themselves back to the right side. Too late.

Hey Ivan, I love it when you talk like that. I did have to look up the word "prat" though. It will now be part of my vocabulary, unless of course, it is not suitable for a lady to use... Please advise.
Cheers, CC :)
I have so much respect for Tony Blair hanging in there - he's a very courageous man.

the French govt would consider everything changed if Iraq uses chem/bio weapons. The chemical weapons that Iraq doesn't have, right?

French govt would consider everything changed if Iraq uses chem/bio DO NOT LET THE FRENCH GO TO WAR WITH US.
Not only will they suck down and waste oxygen like french people do in general. They will claim some kind of victory from it and probably race our weapons inspectors to the sites where they know they sold illegal items to Saddam and try to destroy evidence.
They are just trying to cover their butts; don't let them do it.

They only say this cause they probably sold them the chemicals and want to be on scene like a used car dealer to try to sell us knowledge and masks of what kind Iraq used.Guilt while makin a buck is what France is all about.
To: Diddle E. Squat
Yep. CNN.com's [^GAG] front page says the same.

When the Iraqis use chemical/bio weapons the French want to help?
Great, they can pay for the war. We'll start by seizing all French assets in Iraq, and in all of the Allied nations. Auction them off to the highest bidders, and use the proceeds to pay for the war. If there's anythink left over, we'll use it to build a monument to the French: a poiliu with his hands in the air and his rifle on the ground!

The frogs can eat sh#t! Who needs the cheese-eating-surrender-monkeys military help anyway? They could of helped at the UN when it would of made a difference by showing a united front against Saddam. Military help from the frogs is laughable.

I heard that the French are starting to send GW bags of pretzels. At least they have a sense of humor.
