I wish the media would use the term "Bush Hater" just like they loved to brand all opposed to Clinton as "Clinton Haters". Daschle is the #1 Bush Hater by far!

Daschle is just like the Hollywood protesters. It's Bush's fault. Nah, couldn't be Sadaam's. No, never, it's always OUR or Bush's fault. Daschle makes me absolutely SICK!
The French mucked it up big time with their huffing and puffing about a veto but truth be told, it is Sadaam Hussein's fault and nobody elses. If Daschle fails to realize this, he has no business being a US Senator. SD should be ashamed.
On a happier note, Daschle looks like crap. The guy seems to have a problem with his skin. It's got a shine on it something unbelieveable and his hair is always greasy looking. Hey, maybe Daschle is French afterall.

"I cannot understand how people in South Dakota can elect such absolutely treasonous people"
I asked this same question last year... I can understand if he were a congressman from San Francisco, or Detroit, but a Senator from South Dakota?? Geeeshhh...What is wrong with those people??? Remind me to never set foot in that sorry state.

THis is far, far worse than anything Trent Lott said. But what is more troubling and unexcusable is big media will not call him on it, and by saying nothing, implicitly agree with him.
The media, of course, needs to go after these people and their statements as vigorously as they have gone after republicans for far less. Think that will happen? We can at least call the media, local and national, and tell them you want this covered as they covered Lott.

At some point the total truth about the extent to which the French have been compromised will come out. At that time it will become even more clear that the French will never have agreed to anything of substance.
I hope at some point the WH discloses what was told to the House and Senate and when, exposing that the Dems truely played politics with America's safety.

This guy is a Clinton lacky/stooge. He knows he will take heat for those remarks but that is less heat than he would otherwise get from the Clintons if he didn't do as they tell him.

I'm lashing out at the sawed off little SOB tomorrow. I'm booking this thread as a reminder to call his office and raise hell.
The Senate should call the man down......censure from the floor.

Demos shooting themselves in the foot again in front of an informed public who knows that French diplomacy helped insure war and nothing could change their minds. Daschle's done the "open mouth, insert foot, chow" trick so many times that he has no legs remaining on which to walk. And now he just detonated a [political] grenade in his hand. He's already a triple-self-amputee aiming for complete political suicide.
Dump Daschle, South Dakotans! Do it! Vote Thune in 2004.

I'm mailing a white handkerchief to 'Frenchy Daschle'. The next time he speaks on the floor - he can stand on his little stool and wave it while he is feeling so saddened.

Yes, a motion for censure of Daschle for his inappropriate comments during wartime-----in both the House and the Senate. I'd like to see how many congresscritters vote for and against it. Let's make them stand up and be counted as to whether or not they agree with this statement.
