I just saw Da$$hole on Fox making his statement. I know we're not supposed to use pet names for these RATs, but I'm sorry, calling him Da$$hole is being kind. I lay the whole diplomatic fiasco he cites at his own feet along with Jacques ChIRAQ. People of South Dakota, do the honorable thing and recall that treasonous piece of human flotsam.

What Congressional leader has ever said any thing remotely comparably to this Daschle comment about a U.S. President during wartime? We must never let people forget what was said. This should be in the history books in the future as the measure of how low the Democrats have fallen.
I remember too well how the critical comments about Bush 1 (admittedly mild compared to this) were so quickly forgotten after the U.S. flattened Saddam in the early 90s.

Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle lashed out at President Bush on Monday, saying he had "failed so miserably" at diplomacy in the crisis with Iraq that the United States now stands on the brink of war. Wasn't it Clausewitz who said " War is a continuation of diplomacy... by other means."? I paraphrase of course.
Daschle cannot know the outcome of this drama, it is approaching in the middle act, not yet the final.
The democrats best be careful they don't paint themselves as the anti-Bush, anti-war, anti-American party. They wil pay heavily next November.

Just saw Daschles comments on FNC w/Brit and it totally smoked me. That POS needs to be silenced. Free speech is one thing, but talk from a "Senator" railing against the Government he serves at a time of unity is over the edge!

Daschle should be interned as an illegal combatant. His type of treason is to paper over valid security problems with UN resolutions that won't be enforced after the issue drops from current headlines. Why? Because he is willing to take any security risk so he can hand over the funds our security costs to a groups that sponge for benefits in exchange for voting for Democrat low-life.

People of South Dakota, I implore you: Is this not enough to get rid of Little Tom next year? If not, I worry about you.

He is too unprincipled to resign. I mean, if he REALLY feels the way he just said he does, he SHOULD leave. But, alas, he has decided that it would play well to the anti-war left, at this moment, to pander to them.
EVERYTHING he does and says is calculated. I don't think there is an honest bone in his body. I really don't.

Don't be fooled by Dasshole's demeanor...He's delighted that he can get on his soap box and proclaim this nonsense...He is delighted that he and his cohorts around the world were able to make the president look as if he is wrong in this fight against terrorism...He and his cohorts are directly responsible for putting our troops in harms way...He and his pals are no better than the scum that flew our jets into the WTC.

Actually, up until now, I thought Dash-hole was pretty smart. A wild liberal, socialist SOB snake, but smart. Now, I think I was right about everything but the smart!

I, for one, hope that Dash-hole and other libs continue to make these kinds of statements because it will be amusing beyond anything imaginable to watch them try to shake their own words when the truth comes out. You go Tom, keep helping my side Don't worry Tommy will, he get's his talking points and money from the leftist limosine liberal elite.

Tom Daschle is worried President Bush will win. What will the Democrats say then? They'll say they supported Bush all along.

Daschle says failed diplomacy has led to war. If the diplomacy had worked, we'd have another UN Security Council resolution authorizing use of force which would have also led to war. He's twisting like a pretzel to explain his vote for full use of force and now today's statement doesn't even make sense.

What really eats at dashole, conyers, et al, is President Bush's 62% approval rating. And that's it in a nutshell.

"Saddened that this president failed so miserably at diplomacy that we're now forced to war.If he had succeeded at diplomacy, wouldn't we still be going to war? We'd just be doing it with more countries on our side.
I don't get what he's beefing about.

Daschle is an a.. hole, diplomacy, if SUCCESSFULL would have had the SAME result........WAR! He is a rat, and his actions ONLY hurt our country at a time when our leaders should be displaying SOLIDARITY. He is lower than pond scum IMHO.
