In Oregon, when those Republicans, allegedly protectors of the family from Big Brother, finally took control of the House of Representatives in 1991 the House Speaker appointed a "Children's Care Team" and in the 1993 legislature bills were introduced and passed subsequently establishing those innocent sounding foot-in-the-door "pilot programs".
Family Resource Centers in schools have been the result of receiving federal grants as a part of the Goals 2000 Educate America Act. These "centers" serve as the treatment arm of the entire delivery system from abortions to sleep overs for parents and children with sleeping bags in tow as was the case at a Portland, Oregon school in January 2000 and just as Aldous Huxley imagined in his BRAVE NEW WORLD (c) 1932, p. 28.
Senator Walter Mondale fathered the $multi-billion child protection industry in America by sponsoring the Child Abuse Protection Act (CAPTA) in 1974 resulting in a plethora of false child abuse reporting because, in order to be eligible to receive those federal dollars, each state had to be in compliance with the federal government mandating "hotlines" which became open invitations for malicious slander and abuse. And when voters refuse to give the bureaucrats any more money, the children are used as fund-raising "commodities". For instance, the Sutherland Institute reported in 2000 that the state of Utah received as much as $100,000 per child per year that it managed to retain in state custody.
Many parents now fear the Child Protective Service (CPS) agency, which is a part of the Department of Human Resources in our state, so it was decided "Human Resources" should be brought into the school. As more parents begin to trust these facilities in the schools and avail themselves of the services they will be scrutinized, analyzed and proselytized into the New Age Humanist religion and if they don't measure up, they'll be referred to mandatory services for "re-educating." A September 28, 1987 issue of THE NEW AMERICAN magazine carried an article titled "Your Parents Are Stupid!" This is the Message of the Public School Establishment.
These Family Resource Centers will be in charge of the "integrated service delivery system" to ALL families. All aspects of a family's life, including church, recreation, transportation and health care will be subject to government oversight. The schools are to become the HUBS that will help surrounding neighborhoods by offering academics, activities, and services ranging from flu shots to job counseling and a place where the adults can go for their "lifelong learning" (indoctrination) in order to retain their professional licenses.
These full-service schools will provide dentists, part time psychologists, pediatricians, mentoring, before and after school care by older students, parenting classes. One doctor retired from private practice after 28 years and now sees only medicaid-eligible children -- about 600. It is a great deal for him. No rent, perhaps no malpractice insurance and his supply of patients grows with each new school year assuring him of a good income. Remember, President Bush wants "No Child Left Behind."
We've been hearing on the news that doctors in "high risk" medical professions such as obstetrics are quitting due to the high cost of malpractice insurance. Will they soon be employed by the school districts in these Family Resource Centers? Will other teenagers get on-the-job training in the delivery of babies thereby meeting their "volunteerism" requirement in order to graduate? Will Planned Parenthood be given a seat at the table with their promiscuous agenda providing teenage mothers in need of such a service? For those who don't want to keep their babies, will there be an in-house abortionist? It has been reported that one school in Oregon already has a facility set aside for the homosexuals to entertain their friends and recruit others to this alternate lifestyle.
Check the BBC article to see what England plans to offer and at what estimated cost. Like in America, it is obvious that now England's New Age leaders believe that parents are no longer qualified to raise their children so they must be encouraged to drop them off at "re-education" child care centers at early ages for "brain stimulation!" -- aaaah -- shades of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.

Robert Muller, one time assistant secretary general of the United Nations and author of the "World Core Curriculum", which recommends that children be separated from the family at the earliest possible age and exposed to a "Hillary-type global village" environment, feels being raised in a traditional family produces an undesirable egocentric mind-set.
Remember the oft repeated statement by Dr. William Pierce of Harvard University when he addressed 2,000 teachers in Denver, Colorado: "Every child in America who enters school at the age of five is mentally ill, because he comes to school with an allegiance toward our elected officials, toward our Founding Fathers, toward our institutions, toward the preservation of this form of government... All of this proves the children are sick, because the truly well individual is one who has rejected all of those things and is what I would call the true international child of the future."
Far too many Red Diapered Doper Babies, as Michael Savage refers to them, have gained prominent positions in our government and they feel so long as the child breathes the poisoned air of nationalism under the influence of their parents that the schools should use every means possible to combat family attitudes that favors patriotism and individuality.
And then there was Attorney General Janet Reno who said, "We are working together to give them (the families) a chance for a strong and tolerant future by doing everything we can to promote parenting skills, to provide proper preventive medical care in the early years, to provide them safe, constructive child care in the formative years, to provide them with the afternoon and evening programs that can make a difference, giving them the education they need to really become productive members of society." In Reno's litany of "support, services and sanctions," where could the parents possibly fit?
Reno, the perfect liberal, must have a short memory. She made that hypocritical statement AFTER she gave the order to burn down the home of 17 little innocent children and their parents at the Branch Davidian in Waco, Texas. So much for her tolerance and safe, protective care of children for you see the perfect liberal is distinguished by his or her ability to take clearly contradictory positions on controversial matters while remaining totally oblivious to said inconsistencies.
Through new guidance programs, school-based health clinics and experimental teaching and testing methods, the schools are acting as mental-health centers preparing children for citizenship in a new world order, a "global society."
"Come into my chamber said the spider to the fly" and many trusting parents in their naivety drop their innocent children off at the front door of the schools and then the whole family will live happily ever after in the one-stop Pollyanna Family Resource Centers.
Betty is a former Oregon Republican Party activist having served as state party secretary, county chairman, 5th congressional vice chairman and then elected chairman, a precinct worker for many years and twice ran unsuccessfully for the Oregon State Legislature. The Republican tradition is to stay neutral in Primary races but in Betty's case. They supported her opponent. E-Mail: bettyfreauf@webtv.com

Ads are running in my state with little Johnny saying he loves school and would go year round.
The ad goes on to promote this Utopian principle with all health/dental care, part time psychologists, pediatricians, mentoring, before and after school care ,and much more could be all provided. The spokesman gives a toll free number on how you can assist in making this all happen for you and your child.
