Real Time with Bill Maher
Posted on 03/17/2003 1:10:54 AM PST by apeman81
I just got finished watching the HBO show with Bill Maher. Guests were Dennis Miller, Ariana Huffington, and A female Fox News analysts whose name I regrettably forget.
Typical heavily liberal audience to boo whenever Miller spoke, but one expects no less.
Ariana and Bill were going into one of their canned responses to the idea of war with Iraq, yammering about a double standard because were going after Iraq for building nukes and giving North Korea a pass.
Dennis first asked whether or it not it was best to deal with Iraq first, stopping them from getting nukes while showing Korea we mean business. No answer.
The Dennis asked for some intellectual honesty wanting to know if they would be showing more support if our troops we lined along the DMZ? The fastest change of the subject for the entire show was the only, immediate and final response.
Kicked their ass! I love watching liberals

You
do know that until recently Dennis was a Lib...
he came around on Jay Leno and David Letterman...
he began by saying "this guy Bush, has earned my respect!"

Last week I saw Bill Maher's show and he said that the United States should wait until it is nuked AND THEN go after and destroy whatever countries the nuke would be "traced back to". The "guest" who Maher had on his remote screen (a woman, I forget who she was) was so flabberghasted that she could barely stammer a response. Even Maher's butt-licking, nincompoop audience went silent. It took me half an hour to get my jaw off the floor. The guy is a complete bunghole.
I spared myself from bothering with his show this week, and I won't be watching ever again.

re post no. 7:
I don't know --- only watch news shows, c-span, concerts, home and garden shows, etc. We don't subscribe to HBO, Cinemas, Showtime and whatever else is running around like that. And we ALMOST NEVER watch ABC, NBC, or CBS except when the Olympics are on or ice skating shows, etc.

I don't watch Maher shows and whenever I find out who sponsors his shows; I send them a letter letting them know why I won't buy their products anymore. I mean it, too.

When that happens he'd bitch why didn't we act sooner. Liberals. You wonder if they have a problem with checking their brains before they open their mouths for much of the time what they say doesn't make any sense!

The only way to get Maher off the air (and he really should be off the air) is to NOT WATCH HIS STUPID SHOW!

Amen....He feigns independence by promoting the idea that he is a Libertarian...truth be known he is an avowed leftist...who's only platform that might remotely seem Libertarian is a relaxation of drug laws.
Unfortunately the same crowd of people who get their news from Letterman and Leno, listen to Maher. I'm ashamed to say, my mother is one of them. It's very sad, particularly since she's not brain cell count wise an idiot. However, the neurons are obviously not aligned.

I have no objection to liberals (after all, it's a free country) as long as they show some intellectual honesty, which they rarely do. So it is fine with me to have someone like Dennis Miller voice the views that he does. He probably doesn't agree with Bush on everything (who does?), but at least his mind is open.

It's not the loberals per se that I object to, it is their inability to back up any of their ridiculous statements with facts. They have the alarming habit of fabricating "facts" out of whole cloth and just keep re-procaliming them in the face of real facts to the contrary.
Afterall, there are none so blind as they who will not see.
