HOLD A RALLY - INSPIRE THOUSANDS -
CHANGE YOUR COUNTRY
A Bellevue FReep got 2000+ people. The ones at McChord 3000. In some states, numbers have reached 10 and 25,000! Believe me, people are watching. The great thing about Liberty Weekend is that they will all be TOTALED UP. They will range from small to medium to big to huge! We are getting new sponsors every day and reporting all this to the media. Get the word out.
Now let's consider the small rally, in a suburb for example, as you suggest... I need to keep repeating this again and again: Even three people on a street corner are seen by hundreds or thousands as they pass by! In Gig Harbor, 3 Anti-War women in black stood on a street corner every Friday. After a while,a suburb mom got tired of it. She got a couple friends. An active GOP person sent out a newsletter to her district members. A radio station picked it up for just a couple minutes....
Last Friday there were hundreds of people on that corner - and there will be people on that corner every Friday! Now WE OWN THAT CORNER!
1. ONE lonely FReeper is seen by a hundred
2. In those hundred 50%+ support the FReeper
3. 25% are inspired because they thought they were alone...
4. 15% want to join
5. 5% will tell someone or join
6. This is how a rally grows to from 1 to 1000
This is how we make change!
One step at a time... It is powerful!

But am I making a difference?
A vanity I felt was needed to answer that important question.

Here's another way to express your sentiments. You can make your own bumper stickers for the day. All you need is MS Word, a decent printer and double-sided scotch tape.
Merely print out - cut to size and tape onto your bumper or a spot that can handle tape without flaking. It is very easy to remove too - which is key for me - because a lot of issues and commentable states of affairs change pretty fast.
Here are some I've stuck on my bumper for a day or two:
"Ignorance is Blix"
"No Appeasement for French Oil"
"Say Bye-Bye to the Blixie Chicks"

"But am I making a difference?" Every single person who turns out makes a difference. Even though the press downplays and tries to ignore these events, word gets out, and our men and women in service over there are seeing our reports.

Libertina, I couldn't agree more.
I think of that photo of a marine veteran, Sentinel, that Nutmeg found online: picked up by the news, he was a lone voice amid an anti-war crowd in Alaska. He just wasn't going to let them get away with it. He was there with his voice and his signs. And the press covered him too.
Was he making a difference? Just ask every active duty member who read the news story? YES! YES!! YES!!!
Patrotism is not just a virtue: it's a civil duty at a time like this.
