We have probably saved 6 to 15 billion but the Turks have cost themselves much more. Such is life I guess? We may even end-up firing on them, another bad thing for the Turks. I guess they lose all around. They can thank the Frogs.

Yep, I really want to see Kurdistan established. We'd finally have a strong ally in the region, someone we could count on in times like these.France is technically our ally... the difference between France and England is that the UK is our FRIEND. The Kurds would be more than allies, they would be friends, and we could count on their support for decades to come.
Our foreign policy should be based on three principles: #1) securing America's safety and to a lesser extent economic vitality #2) doing what's morally right and #3) looking for friends who will stick by us.

I've been proposing this here for a week now, but I still think that the concept of a real democracy in Iraq isn't gonna work in a centralized way. It should be modeled like the USA, with states within.... including a Kurdish state in the Norhtern region, a Sheite state down south, a Suni state wherever and a central region in Bagdad.
