Yep, I really want to see Kurdistan established. We'd finally have a strong ally in the region, someone we could count on in times like these.France is technically our ally... the difference between France and England is that the UK is our FRIEND. The Kurds would be more than allies, they would be friends, and we could count on their support for decades to come.
Our foreign policy should be based on three principles: #1) securing America's safety and to a lesser extent economic vitality #2) doing what's morally right and #3) looking for friends who will stick by us.

I concur re friends & allies but I'd suggest France is proven neither but, rather, like Russia, an adversary.
