I suppose we are supposed to support kickin' the ass of Jehovah's Witnesses because they wont stand for the pledge either.

No, but we ought to ask them to deliver the mail. It would save money, and would be an ice breaker.

I can't believe there are FReepers who aren't hideously embarrassed by this.

Well, one has only to read your post to make a rapid evaluation of your character and your social behavior. It is all there for the rest of us to read, it is not nice.

Hello. Is anybody home? You must have interesting social gatherings as you seem to equate loutish, violent behavior as acceptable.

My character is in much better shape than your ability to understand the written word.

"This is phony patriotism. This man needs to be ashamed of himself for what he did."

Exactly. The guy is a POS. As if standing for a CW song has anything to do with patriotism. Duh.

I stand for the National Anthem, Dixie....

I hadn't heard "Dixie" in a long time. Then today, it came roaring through on a country & western station. Hot Damn! We sure used to get things fired up when the band played that song.

Most liberals live their entire lives with mental anguish.

The reasons for that syndrome are covered in this speech to West Point cadets.

I'm not embarassed. It wasn't me doing any of the fighting ---and I see fights pretty often around here. My kids do too ---by the time they're in middle school, they'll see a similar fight every day.

Just another Houston Urban Cowboy Redneck. Nothing to see here folks, please move along.

I hope this kid never goes to a soccer game in Europe if he thinks getting his ear pulled is so bad.

I don't see myself standing for a Lee Greenwood song, until and unless they make it the National Anthem. In fact, the very idea of standing for it sounds cheap.

BUMP!.........Stupid Idiot in the upper seats ruined the rodeo for a family just minding its own business.

I have heard that this Lee Greenwood was at one time in his life a person who evaded the draft. Perhaps someome out there in Freepland can verify, or speak to this?

Lee Greenwood's song

Who?

Unless they're playing the National Anthem or God Bless America, my ass is going to sit. And if some drunk hillbilly cretin doesn't like it and decides to take it to the next level, he's going to be lying flat on his back feeling the steel of my Ka-Bar on his ribs in short order.

"When he grows up, he'll vote Republican, but if he just gets older without growing up, he'll vote Dimocrat."

Agreed.

My father, God bless his soul, always used to say: "A Democrat is a Republican who has never been smacked."
