Sometimes people grow up long after they have grown-up. We all tend to idolize the people we would like to be, at least until we find out who we are, and what they are. Sometimes it takes a long time, sometimes it takes a war.

Who will be advertising on the oscars?
That is where to hit them. The Blixie Chicks only appologized after their wallets were affected. Now it is time to make the wallets of the hollyweird run dry.
This is event television, lets make it an event where our opinion is heard.

The presenters are getting gift baskets worth $30,000! that's $30,000 for 120 seconds of work.

Who will be advertising on the oscars? That's a good question. It's true, the Dixie Chicks only got the message after radio stations started pulling their music off the air due to listener protest and their sponsors (like Lipton) started feeling the heat.
Martin Sheen lost his lucrative Visa endorsement contract after Visa received complaints. That's how you put these Hollywood clowns out of business.

The Dixie Chicks are just starting their Top of the World Tour. Lipton has signed on as the tour's title sponsor. The Dixie Chicks will star in a Lipton Iced Tea television commercial spot starting in mid-May, and will be featured in store displays promoting a Lipton Tea contest. In addition, samples of various Lipton Tea products will be available at all of the U.S. Dixie Chicks dates.
Lipton is going to be getting some e-mail from me in the near future.

No doubt, maybe a Boston Tea Party is just what we need. But this time, let's throw Natalie Maines into the harbor.

This was a well written article and it was enjoyable to read. Thanks for posting.
By the way, I wrote my letter to Lipton the other day and feel great about it! Our family is really protesting these "artists" and it's not a hardship, because my stomach just turns when I see these performers.
