SUPPORT THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF UPDATE
ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT DRAFTED AGAINST THE PRESIDENT!
CRITICAL ACTION ITEMS BELOW!
3/13/03
We have just learned that House Judiciary ranking member John Conyers (D-Mich.) assembled more than two-dozen prominent liberal attorneys and legal scholars on Tuesday to consider articles of impeachment drafted against President Bush by activists seeking to block military action against Saddam Hussein.
Conyers was the only Member of Congress to attend the meeting, however Ramsey Clark--former attorney general was also there.
"We had a pretty frank discussion about putting in a bill of impeachment against President Bush," said Francis Boyle, an Illinois law professor who is working with Clark on the impeachment language.
WE URGES A SWIFT RESPONSE! call Rep. Conyers office to voice their displeasure with him for even considering such an action against a President who has vowed to protect our nation from terror.
Please call as soon as you receive this message!
Below is the contact information you need to make an IMMEDIATE, and DIRECT IMPACT ON THIS ISSUE!
Rep. John Conyers: 202/225-5126 (Washington Office) 313/961-5670 (Main District Office)
And please, after calling Rep. Conyers, pass this message on to your friends and family, urging them to follow your lead by phoning as well.
TOGETHER, WE MUST COMBAT THESE DESPICABLE ACTS AGAINST OUR PRESIDENT!
Thank you, and God Bless America,

John Conyers should be exterminated for impersonating Congressman while masquerading as a cockroach.

Mr. Conyers is about as relevant as Kofi Annan. They're both Men's Room Attendants.

I'm calling Conyers to encourage this move.A frickin' GREAT idea!!
"You go, Conyers! Impeach! Impeach! Full steam ahead!"
To: mandingo republican
I'd rather have this misguided group spending their time on something like this than some other malicious course of action that might succeed.
Hope they spend 8 hours each day for the next several months plotting their strategy.
Idle (and imbecilic) minds are the devil's workshop.

I have a lot better idea. Let's impeach these liberal @#$h*les!

Aw, now YOU'RE no fun! I wanted fifty flaming posts before anyone figured out what I was really sayin'!
But you're right: I hope against HOPE that Conyers does this. The Dems will lose fifty seats in the next election.

Conyers impeachment campaign is a total joke. Its not going anywhere. Just look at his partner Ramsey Clark who has no credibility -- Mr. whack job.
But more power to him, I'd like to see the delusional fool try.

This is so much more subtle than flaming him by email. If he gets enough "You go!" messages, he may think there's a real groundswell and try to actually DO it...

I'd like to see this make it into the mainstream press - complete with the left's hypocrisy. Any ideas? Well, the first thing that pops into my mind would be FOX News. They are fair and balanced. . .

Don't forget our "fellow traveler- Ramsey Clarke" . He's always supported every leftwing cause and group. Never met an anti-American Cause that he didn't like and agree with. I think we've had enough of the
b@$t@rds! Isn't there some island like Bimini we can send this ilk? they can set up their own socialist paradise there.

HUME: Congressman Conyers, what do you think that Webb Hubbell meant when he said on a conversation he knew was being taped that I guess I'll have to I think the quote was "roll over again." What do you think he meant by roll over again?
CONYERS: Sir, the tapes that were released by the Chairman Dan Burton, my friend from Indiana, were doctored.
HUME: There was no doctoring of any tapes, sir. There was an edited transcript. The tapes were released in full. My question to you is what do you think he meant by roll over again?
CONYERS: I said I said the tapes were doctored.
HUME: Yes, you were incorrect about that. They were released in there entirety. What was edited were the transcripts. My question for you, what do you think he meant when he said roll over again?
CONYERS: I have absolutely no idea.
HUME: Would you like...
CONYERS: What do you think he means?
HUME: Would you like to find out sir?
CONYERS: Well, I don't have any reason to find out. I mean, what do I need to know for?
He was found guilty of cheating his law firm. That's a terrible sin, but it has nothing to do with the report that Mr. Starr is about to release, or may someday release. And I want to know what our congressional committee people over there were doing with Starr. That's what's against the federal rules of criminal procedure.
SNOW: Mr. Conyers, I want to back up a second. You think the tapes were doctored?
CONYERS: The releases that came out of Chairman Burton's committee were doctored. Yes.
SNOW: You're talking about the tapes. This is obviously very important whether the tapes or the transcripts, the paper transcriptions. Do you think the tapes were doctored?
CONYERS: Let me be clear about this: I haven't heard any tapes. I haven't even read any transcripts, but the evidence is pretty clear that the transcripts that were released by Mr. Burton were altered.
SNOW: You have said that Attorney General Janet Reno isn't doing her job. For that she should be fired?
CONYERS: I didn't say you're asking me if she should be fired?
SNOW: Yes.
CONYERS: No, I don't think she should be fired. And if I did, I would be the first to let her know.
SNOW: One of the things about Webster Hubbell he made $700,000 between leaving government employment and going to prison. Do you think he got paid off?
CONYERS: Do I think he what?
SNOW: Got paid off.
CONYERS: Paid off by whom?
SNOW: Friends and supporters of the president.
CONYERS: Do I think that he got paid off by nobody's made that allegation. Are you saying that that's your view?
SNOW: That has been in the press, sir. You mentioned before the press. That's been all over the press.
At any rate, we're not going get anywhere with that.
CONYERS: How would I know? .........
