Dixie Chicks Slam Bush on Foreign Soil

The other night, at their opening for their tour in London, they indicated on stage that they were sad to know/hear that our President was from Texas. Again, it is sad to see and hear yet another "celebrity" announcing that they are ashamed of their President of their Unites States. I just wish we would get over and get back so that these "celebrities" would quit using all of these Grammy, Emmy, own concert "stages" to provide their political saitre.

A fellow Texan here that will not be part of any future Dixie Chicks music.
What would they say if a guy lived next door to them that had killed family members, and has a house full of guns, and was a known nut? Of course they would not like it.

"Damn, I liked them too."

I thought they were ALMOST good - I listened to their cd's at Barnes & Noble several times, nibbled, but didn't bite. But in the end, they seemed a mite slick and superficial.

The leader of the chicks should loose about 30 lbs before she judges anyone...

The Official Dixie Whores Message Board.

Go give them a piece of your mind! If you own any of their overprocessed CDs (without which they probably sound like Linda McCartney did), go put them up on eBay for 1¢.

Are the Vichy Chicks primarily big among pure country fans, or do they have mostly a crossover appeal to the soft rock crowd?

Country music and anti-Americanism liberal bull^$&^ don't mix. Bye bye from a former fan

"Just so you know," says singer Natalie Maines, "we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas."

Maybe you should make a tune "Our Careers had to Die"

Don't you have something better to do than to post mis-spelled idiotic posts? Or were you trying to be serious?

I don't advocate record burning, or book burning either. I won't buy any of this white trash group's records and there are many fans in my conservative neck-of the-woods who won't either. That will be enough.

I didn't want to say it while they were so beloved around here, but I've always thought that the Dixie Chicks looked like Folsom Street hookers from San Francisco.

Not that I dislike them for what they said -- I just can't stand that awful warbling homebucky twangin' called Country.

i'm pretty sure they've each gained at least 30 pounds since that photo was taken, assuming that photo wasn't photoshopped to within an inch of its life in the first place. (Did you know the current issue of British GQ has a picture of Kate Winslet on the cover where they literally photoshopped her so she looks like Kate Moss? Winslet is furious. But it's just proof that almost NO posed publicity photo or magazine photo these days is even slightly close to real.)

Are there any free (danged if I'll pay $30.00) sites regarding the Dixie Chicks or a link to their management company? I want to let my disgust be known regarding those left-wing bimbos. (Yeah, I used to like their music. No more.) Like any talented artist that I may have once admired, their stuff gets thrown in the trash this day forward if they are anti-Bush, pro-Clinton/Democrat and coddlers of tyrants like Saddamn to spite the current administration. I won't buy another CD or pay any money to hear the Dixie Chicks in concert just so they can dis Bush and glorify corrupt, psuedo-feminists/Marxist politicos like Hillary Clinton or weak-willed girlymen like Albert Gore.

I don't like full on Country or Bluegrass music so their type of music appealed to me. I liked the two sister's musical ability also, was not ecstatic about the vocals. Oh-well, I won't lose much sleep over not listening to them anymore. I pray that Metallica doesn't say anything like this, I'd cry for days if I couldn't ever listen to them again.
