A few pics of many taken, wish I had the space to host em all!
My best guesstimate- anywhere from 800-1000 people, and a State Senator (Ballentine) showed up in an obviously partisan crowd, something a lot of politicians dont have the fortitude to do, lol!
Many Thanks to Constitution Day, MyKidsMom, and all the rest who set this event in motion!
These pics are also posted on a page HERE
Almost forgot, Kudo's to 'Congressman BillyBob' for a great blast of hilarious hot air! hehehe!

Thanks for the pics!!

It WAS a GREAT Rally! Constitution Day, Mykdsmom and dei23 did a WONDERFUL job organizing this. I know they were discouraged earlier in the week, but they didn't give up and it PAID OFF BIG TIME!

A special thanks to dei23 for taking responsibility for conducting the rally and keeping everything going.
Congressman BillyBob was fantastic and Jim Snyder very impressive.
We also had some great surprises-
-The 11 yr. old girl was great who sang the song she had written after 9-11 and sang Grand Ole Flag. Would love for the media to give her some air time.
-Then State Senator Patrick Ballentine!! He mentioned he had been at the White House and spoken to President Bush recently which tells me they must be supporting him running
for governor.

EVERYONE WHO COULDN'T COME THIS TIME SHOULD NOT MISS THE NEXT ONE!!!!!

Beautiful pictures, 45semi! Thank you. TC - wish you had been there. This was the best rally of all we have attended - except perhaps the MFJ! Nothing beats that - not yet anyway. But locally - this was the best (IMHO). Excellent work by all concerned and thank God for WPTF and Jerry Agar.

CD - read the info about your interview with Langford - will try to see or tape the interview tomorrow night though I NEVER watch that program. Thank you for your courage!

The segment on WUNC TV is TONIGHT! (early this morning at 12:30 AM).

Also, I only had to face down Bob Langford and a cameraman; that didn't really take any courage whatsoever.
Just to clarify:
Courage is what is being exhibited by US soldiers, even as I type this.

Oh my - 12:30 "AM" as in morning - as in a few hours from now. OH MY again - that will definitely be taped since I will be sound asleep at that time tonight. Yes, our heroes are the ones going with 2 hrs sleep and pushing on to victory. God bless our heroes - but it did take a some "gumption" - old fashioned Southern word - to do what you did. Too bad so few will be awake to see it....but maybe they saw the first run. Thanks again, CD. You are, no matter what you say, a champion!

Good grief... I haven't recorded anything on VCR in so long it will probably TAKE me until 12:30 AM to figure it out!

I have to route my audio & satellite receivers somehow.

Jeez. I'll have a beer & think about it for a minute. :)

I gave up on programming the VCR to record eons ago. But, I can start taping at 10:30 with no problem going through the 12:30 AM show time - tonight- tomorrow morning. Well - I can already feel the sleep coming on. I am going over to pray some on the " pray for our President and the Troops thread." Crucial hours lie just ahead. May God confuse and confound our nation's and freedom's enemies tonight and may He bring His sure and certain hand of protection around these troops and our heroes guarding our shores at home as well. The danger ahead is great. But God is greater. Learning to surrender all to His faithful hands is a wonderful way to sleep in peace no matter what may befall. Goodnight all.
