Al-Sharq Al-Awsatreported that "Sources close to the [Islamist] fundamentalist movement in London said that 400 'Arab-Afghans' crossed the Iranian and Turkish borders into Iraq ten days ago [third week in February]. These informed sources told Al-Sharq Al-Awsat in a phone conversation, that the 'Arab-Afghans'… may participate in suicide missions against the American forces when the land war starts and that some Al-Qa'ida leaders were among those who arrived in northern Iraq…"

What can be expected when they think they will join Mohammad Atta in some whorehouse in the sky?

The scum, as you appropriately term them, will find out that the difference between U.S. military warriors and civilian office workers is more than just uniforms - if they attack our forces.

Crap! If they intend suicide, why did they run out of Afghanistan instead of fighting to the death there?

This is consistent with what happened in the Afghan war. Most were Saudis and lots were killed. What is most important is the numbers, just 400, a much lower number than the Afghan war. That indicates a lack of faith with the masses of their triumph in the battle. More a resignation that they are done for. Obviously they have little to live for in a Muslim society. No anticipation of "The Return of the King" - which you are allowed to take both ways.

I am told it is very, very difficult to find Osama Bin Laden T-shirts for sale in Peshawar.

And it has been since November, 2001.

To quote OBL himself, "People naturally follow a strong horse".

Why would you suggest that MEMRI is not a reliable source?
