Here's what I think.
Blix's dodge about working under previous resolutions not just 1441, and the whitewash, was everything he WANTED to say.
However, the few statements he did give that basically declare Iraq in Breach of 1441, was what he HAD to say.
And the Bottom line is, it will give cover to any Sec Council member that wishes to abstain.
For their own good, that better be the extent of it.

LOL! How did you come up with that picture so fast? I guess I stand corrected.
WTF!
What happened to IMMEDIATE and COMPLETE compliance?
Now the Europeans are saying that "progress" is the marker by which Iraq is living up to its obligations....these UN
a@@es are stooges!
This is a global protection program for Saddam! "F" Blix and elBaradei!

Saddam has that many people who want to poison him that they have to have mobile food TESTING labs? I guess so...??? At least, *I* can't figure out why a country would want/need mobile food testing labs.

This is sooo sickening. But I think we all knew it was going to happen just like we know the vote next week will be against the resolution!

consider bribery ...When I first came to work at this company 4 years ago, the IT guy helped me out a lot on some things, so I got him a bottle of this:
Since then we've gotten along just fine. :)

This is hilarious...
They're trying to say that Iraq was trying to reverse engineer some rockets and they were having difficulties based on the 1987 tolerances...
So they tried to improve performance by getting tighter tolerances on the aluminum tubes...
No offense, Mohammed, but you don't improve rocket performance with high-purity aluminum tubes made to such extreme tolerances, and it sure isn't cost effective for simple rockets to shoot off a fortune per rocket. That's just STUPID. If you want to improve performance you don't look to the fuselage of the things to get results...
Not to mention that if they were just trying to reverse engineer some rockets, and research was still underway -they wouldn't need to buy such enormous quantities of the things... they would purchase small quantities untiul they got it right, then place orders for the right materials.
You also don't need mirror-smooth INNER surfaces for ROCKETS. Give me a break... did they think there was such a thing as INTERNAL drag?

Did anyone else catch the interview on FOX yesterday with an old supervisor of Blix's? The man said that the poor guy that tried to save his own life by running to the UN vehicles has now disappeared. Remember the UN turned him over to Iraqi police? The guy being interviewed noted that when Hans was asked about this fellow at a news conference, his answer was that he "could think of more elegant ways to approach a UN delegation."

What day is the vote? monday?

What happened to IMMEDIATE and COMPLETE compliance? Apparently that isn't important to anyone except when it applies to law abiding gun owners.

No indication that Iraq has attempted to import Uranian since 1990. No indication that Iraq has imported magnets. After 3 months they have found no evidence of the revival of nuclear weapons in Iraq.

I agree that we are going to see another week of diplomacy at the UN to get our resolution through or defeated.
I keep telling myself this is a good thing -- shows the worthlessness of the Security Council -- they are not worth the pay they are receiving.
This is probably one of the last nails in the coffin of the Security Council and if they defeat the last resolution, the last nail will be put in the Security Council.
We need a coalition of the willing in the World that support Freedom and the UN is not that coalition.
