Howlin pointed this article out to us last night
Not sure if this is true but I sure like the idea
Britain's role is crucial in next stage of war on terror - Iran
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/858685/posts
Well-connected advisers tell me that if, as now seems likely, the UN refuses to back action against terror, Mr Bush will announce a "temporary" suspension of America's membership, to be accompanied by an offer: if the UN gets its act together and carries out long-overdue reforms, America (and its money) will return. But if there is no reform, the temporary withdrawal will, de facto, become permanent.

**"We hope Iraq...Iraq should..."**
I hope Powell jumps all over that.
Cripes now El Embarassment is now saying they plan to ask shortly for Iraq to allow outside interviews! Like "we've been meaning to, but just haven't gotten around to it">
I'm going to go spit now.

I also despise the UN, but you know the old adage: "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." I subscribe to "Keep your friends close and your enemies six feet under"

I certainly hope he turns off his "Secretary-Of-State" persona and turns on his "General" persona. As much as I appreciate diplomacy, this has gone on too long. My dream on Powell's speech to the Security Council:
"Hello, fellow respected ministers, Inspector Blix, Inspector Al-Baradei, stupid dumbass Iraqi terrorist parading as a foreign minister. Instead of talking to you myself, I have decided to deputize former Marine drill sargeant R. Lee Ermey as an official US attache. He will speak to you as my proxy."
Ermey: "Listen here, you limp-wristed Euro-faggots! You French p---ies! We have 200,000 US Marines waiting to kick some raghead @ss, and we could care less about how you want to be butt-buddies with Saddam Hussein! So unf--k yourselves and get your s--t together NOW! We are going to defend our country by killing whoever the hell we think needs to be killed. And if you don't like it, you can go home and cry to your momma, you weak-kneed terrorist-loving HIPPIES!"

Saddam has his cook taste his meal for him. That way, the cook is motivated to keep poison out of it.
To: quack
Yeah, he'll get more time alright, about 3 days to get his stupid inspection teams out!!

This "report" was an exception to the rule that brevity is the soul of wit. Blix said almost nothing of any substance.
a.k.a. job security so the paychecks keep coming in if he can get a few months (years) extension.

ElBaradei on now
To: quack
Blix needs more time to iron out the terms of his consulting agreements with the Axis of Weasels in order to make certain that his transition from UN inspector back to private life is as smooth and lucrative as possible.

Geez Louise
I think El Embarassment is worse this time than Blixie was.

Snubbing ole ugly hateful Helen.....what a nice gift for Ari Fleischer! Yes; and Ari, of course, had a front row seat, and Heinous Thomas was placed back to the 4th or 5th row (at least), and not called on......when Bush first was taking he questions, he made sure the reporters knew, it was going according to his "script" (or some word like that)....he then proceeded to call, in order, by name, the names HE WROTE DOWN on his list....Heinous wasn't on the list and was not in the script....too funny.

I think the President will let the Security council cut it's own throat as well. The end of the UN is as easy as A,B,C. (Annan, Blix & Chirac)
