Harrison Ford Says He's Not Pro-Bush

Film star Harrison Ford has become the latest celebrity to say that he's not a fan of President George W. Bush.
The New York Daily News cleared up conflicting reports of the "Air Force One" president's stance on the potential war with Iraq. The paper said numerous reports found Ford opposing the antiwar letter to Bush in December from the celebrity group Artists United to Win Without War.
Speaking through his manager Patricia McQueeney, Ford said his feelings are "exactly the opposite" of what's been reported. She told the Daily News that Ford was "appalled by the idea" that anyone would think he supports a war with Iraq.
That's not to say that he doesn't want Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein out of power. In fact, he wants Bush out of power, too.
"What I'm for is a regime change on both sides," Ford told the Daily News through McQueeney.
Ford next stars as a LAPD detective in the action comedy-drama "Hollywood Homicide."

There are too many good books to read to be bothered by what some "actor" thinks who never had to put his behind on the line in combat... personally, I am reading "Slander" this week...

I agree about Harrison. He is a performer, not an actor. He is identical in EVERY role he plays.

Anyone that thought that I was going to continue to view and/or buy movies and videos staring Harrison Ford where unequivocally mistaken, my feelings are,
"exactly the opposite"!
I had already dropped this bum like a bad habit, when he shed his wife of many years and kids, for a young trophy with a new rack.
I knew something was happening with this middle-aged moron when he dyed and spiked his gray hair and plugged a gold earring into his floppy ears. I also noticed in an interview that his wrist was limped, and there was no sign of stroke... :^)

Make sure you get rid of the Sesame Street episodes where Kofi Annan and REM make appearances.

"What I'm for is a regime change on both sides," Ford told the Daily News through McQueeney Calling for a coup there, are we Harrison?

"Get off my plane." Dang, that was a great movie moment!
I'm disappointed with this, I always thought he was pretty good. Too bad he had to be like the others thinking anyone gives a rat's patootie about his political opinions.
To: hoosierskypilot
It seems to me that he was, against his will, being publicly associated with a pro-war/pro-Bush sentiment, when his views were rather to the contrary. Movies stars shouldn't be telling me how to think -- but they've got the right not to have their reputations and prominence used to bolster a political position with which they disagree.

He is not "pro-bush?" What is he -- gay?

I think he's lying to a degree. He's backtracking under the threat of the "McCarthyites" in Hollywood. Plus it appeases the foreign markets, or at least foreign critics who determine the success of films.

You have to wonder anyhow about a guy who costars in a movie with Anne Heche. I think he even kissed her. Thinking about where that mouth's been would unhinge anyone...not that he wasn't already unhinged. He's been a Big Time Lefty for years.
Another Lefty people don't suspect because of his gruff no-nonsense attitude is Tommy Lee Jones, Al Gore's former roommate at Hahvahd.

Does anyone really care what Harrison Ford thinks? I do not.

Well we saw him in person when we went to see Leno show last year. It was around Ford's 60th birthday. He stuttered, he slurred, he wobbled. He looked horrible. Now I find his horrible appearance COMICAL! Another Hollywood Leftist speaks out. McCarthy was RIGHT!

Who cares what mister midlife crisis Ford thinks.
I find it interesting that he HAD to correct the
info that he might be FOR the President.
Another phony pampered ahole.
To: hoosierskypilot
The Screen Actors Guild will soon call you a gross Mc Carthyite or something worse! You sound like you are boycotting the artistic efforts those wonderful leftist American actors. Prepare for their counter attacks and call the ACLU for help. Oh, and Sesame Street is a commie plant that has ruined more kids brains than Coca Cola.

Wait a minute. Is this Harrison Ford going out of his way to make his views publicly known, or is this Harrison Ford dealing with the fact that his views were publicly misrepresented by a third party? It seems to have been the latter case, so I can see where he'd make a public statement.
