Steve Doocey said on Fox this morning that he had just gotten off the phone with Mansoor Ijaz, the Pakistani-born American who has excellent connections to Pakistan, and that Ijaz said that the info they are extracting from the Sheik means that we are days, if not "hours," away from capturing OBL. They have traced his movements; they know where his wives & some kids are (Iran, where they are being "protected"), and think OBL even slipped out of the country and went to Bali prior to that bombing, traveling mostly by water.
Further, last night on O'Reilly, Ijaz also said that he has no doubt that we are using "whatever means necessary" to extract info from the Sheik. O'Reilly said "including torture?" Ijaz said, "Yes."
Also, on another subject, just yesterday a former interrogator was being interviewed and he said that physical torture is not the best method of interrogating because the captive will almost always say whatever you want them to say eventually but that does not necessarily mean it is the truth.

I cannot think of anything more revolting than to have another "OJ" bin Laden trial. It would be the biggest circus in the history of man. We need him in one piece..... DEAD!
This is an interesting little tidbit here. Iran's appears to have been silently helping out Al Qaeda for some time. That will be a useful card to play later. I imagine we know a lot more about Iran than we're discussing, but we'll drop a dime on them in due time.
As far as Bin Hidin, if this information has made it out to the press, then we're trying to flush him out of his hole. Usama has a pretty sizable entourage, and if they know rougly where he is, they stand a good chance of detecting his movement. Run, Usama, run!!
If he doesn't sleep with the worms he would have had to lose his big entourage and go incognito with only a few people.

*Note: There has been some contradictory information as to the status of this individual. Abu Mohammed al-Masri is a nom de guerre, hence one should not confuse him with the al-Qaeda functionary of the same name who was recently killed in Algeria working with the GSPC. Mossad reportedly had intelligence that al-Masri might have been one of the suicide bombers involved in the al-Qaeda attack in Mombasa, but near as I can tell the findings were not corroborated **Note: Per Knight Ridder, he may have been captured along with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. If this is indeed true it would be exceedingly good news. |
A Freeper Production-SV
The capture of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed has given me new hope that we will eventually catch Bin Laden.
We'll eat crow together. No matter what happens, GWB wins!
No body, no martyr. There is probably more OBL DNA in the backyard bird bath from condensation nuclei, than OBL DNA left in Tora Bora.
However, just portraying OBL as alive further degrades his legacy, given his cowardly retreat from Tora Bora.
Never the less, if OBL is alive, and a pretty slim likelihood for an untreated hemodialysis dependent person; capturing OBL alive would be on the level of catching OBL eating a roast pork sandwich.
And Ill eat that crow with Tobasco Sauce.
Judge Neopolitan on FNC confirmed that. It's also not the most effective way to get information.
