Ski Masked Anti War Protestor Leaves Child at Rally Site
vanity | March 1 2003

Posted on 03/01/2003 6:52:25 PM PST by oceanperch

My son and I stood alone in Support of Our Troops today at the corner of Hwy 20 and 101 on the rural Oregon Coast.

Around us were 20 or so Anti-war protestors.

They all left at 1pm and we stayed out until 2pm

He used his wheelchair to hold 5 large signs Support Our Troops. A billboard on wheels if you will.

He is very well liked in our community so amongst the honkers were allot of "hey Chris" yells and waving.

A young boy kept going from corner to corner frantic on his bike.

He finally came up to me with tears in his eyes, crying with lips shaking and ask "Have you seen my MOM?" He continued she is wearing a black mask.

I told him that the protesters had all left about 40min ago but a few were over in that parking lot go ask them and if you need help come back and see me I will help you.

After a few minutes talking to the people I directed him to he returned some what composed and optimistic as he rode by he told me they said she may have gone to "Oceana" (the local health store/hang out).

We packed up at 2pm glad that we could represent part of our community and as I was driving away saw him coming back as I passed down the Hwy.

She was the only one out wearing a black ski mask and filthy clothes.

I hope he was ok. It just goes to show over and over again the lack of common sense these lefties have.

Shame on her for being so into her crowd that she forgot about her Kid!

"Oceana" (the local health store/hang out). The hippies named their health food store after the Navy's east coast master jet base?

Why do they do that?
Esp. here where nothing is going to get out of hand, once in a while you see the officer on a normal patrol there is no media.

It is a small town where we do live along side peacefully.

She looked silly and brought odd attention to herself.

This is far from Seattle.

The more I think about that childs face quivering and unwashed I really pray God will bless him.

They way she described the boy's mother, they may not have a home to go to, just a cardboard box.

she may have gone to "Oceana"

Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.

BTW, anybody hear something about a proposed park in East Germany that will preserve aspects of life under a communist dictatorship? There will be surly guards at the gates and bland food in the restaurants, etc.

Longshot but, if he had a student visa at some point, he actually could be the father.

(Please don't tell that photo was taken in America.)

When is the next protest? Get the swabbies in there to give the place a proper christening.

Do you really expect her to care more about the kid when it is 5 years old than when it is 6 months in the womb?

Oh yeah.

oceanperch---the peaceniks lose their kids a LOT. I have seen three of the Wshington DC ANSWER rallies on C-Span, and each one has been interrupted by "missing child" announcements at least three times.

But those were huge crowds, and this was a tiny one.

I guess when these people get together to bloviate about their anger and bitterness, they tend to lose track of anything extraneous to that, like their children...

Disclaimer: it's also possible that the kid got bored and disobeyed his mom by biking further than he was allowed, and by the time he got back they were elsewhere looking for him. In fact I think ALL the missing kids at these things went missing because they were bored out of their skulls. If a child can't sit through a one-hour church service or a two-hour movie, how are they going to handle a three-hour rally full of very loud and unhappy people?

No doubt the kid asked an innocent question like "Why do you support terrorists and hate the president, mommy?" As a card carrying liberal she now must hate her kid. You probably just witnessed her disowning the child... "You're on you OWN now you little BRAT republican!!!"

Thanks to you and Chris.

The stinking hippy mother of this child probably got stoned and forgot that she had a son there.

Your story is the tale of Two Mothers. One, the conservative mother, you and your son in his wheelchair doing your thing. The other renta mobber doing her liberal thing. She is more concerned about the poor chilrun in Iraq than her own child.
