Did you ever notice that "delicacy" seems to be a synonym for gross?

WE used to give my dog those dried pig ears- he loved them. But after I had to use a long forceps to remove one from his throat, we stopped giving him any. I hope these guys have better luck munching on these grubby pieces of cartilage!

OOOHHH....my dog would have loved to have found THEM! I buy dried cow ears on occasion at PETsMART as treats for my dogs. They love 'em.

Our late, departed Golden Retriever, Prior Lake Jake loved these things---the crunchier, the better. But he got a large chunk caught in his throat and it was fortunate I was close by to save him from choking to death. We quit giving them to him after that.

But he got a large chunk caught in his throat and it was fortunate I was close by to save him from choking to death. Considering some of the things I've seen her ear, I would have never considered pig ears to be a choking hazard.
