BAGHDAD, Feb 23 (AFP) - President Saddam Hussein received Sunday former US attorney general Ramsey Clark who said he was trying to incite world public opinion against a US-led war.
Clark said his International Action Center was meant to "create a world public opinion against the war that the US administration is threatening to launch on the Iraqi people," the state news agency INA reported.
"Our center believes in the establishment of peace in the world, despite that the drums of war are beating in the United States and Britain," he said.
Saddam hailed Clark's center "for its efforts to strengthen the principles of peace and humanity in the world."
Clark's center fights against US militarism, war and corporate greed and struggles against racism and oppression within the United States, according to the group's website.
Clark met on Saturday with Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz in Baghdad.
The United States has been deploying a massive military buildup in the Gulf, threatening to lead an imminent war against Saddam Hussein whom it accuses of developing weapons of mass destruction.

I guess THIS is what Clark supports? Clark supports anything that is anti-USA. Disgusting, isn't it?

Isn't Ramsey Clark the same guy whose name has come up recently as a potential Democrat PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE? Has anyone else heard that? (I'm trying to remember where I read, heard or saw it.)

The peace-loving doves who follow his path are flying on blood-stained wings. Nicely put.
That is what he is all about. The more anti-American the cause, and the more bloody, he seems to be there.

"Oooo! I LIKE the Logan Act!" I wish somebody else did. Think about Jesse Jackson, for starters. Multiple counts.

Ramsey Clark....2003 rendition of Benedict Arnold!!!! His Benedict Arnold Act goes back to the late 1960s. He never met a brutal dictatorship he didn't like better than the government of the United States.

Can we find out where he is going to be a human shield (if he is going to be one) because I would love to aim one of our precision guided missiles right where he is standing.
This man has been a thorn in the side of the United States for so long I forget when I first started detesting him!

Saddam and Ramsay Clark both belong to the same political party, the Socialist International. By the way, Tony Blair is also a member, but not in good standing.

again? wasn't he there for the last one?

Well, the question should be a "Useful Shield" or a "Human Idiot".......I think it's the first...

Saddam hailed Clark's center "for its efforts to strengthen the principles of peace and humanity in the world." Ramsey Clark is an incredible fool. If he could see the truth about himself he would die of embarassment and shame.

What's wrong, does he need his meds adjusted again?

You only need two witnesses of the treasonous act. You can count on me for being one of them.
