BTW, I recall something like a month or two ago a threat issuing from Washington that military force might be required to assure the adequate and equitable distribution of food aid in Zimbabwe. Actually Walken CAN dance and has done so before on other shows (his mother forced him to take dance lessons when he was a kid).

how many people know that "The Continental" was a show on TV in the early 50s. I never saw it, though. BTW, I thought the casting of Walken as Leonardo diCaprio's father in "Catch Me If You Can" was brilliant. And that was a great movie.

The skit is hysterical because he does the eastern european "continental" wannabe masterfully....they tend to over pronounce all words related to sending a cultural message.
True, I have this good friend Nenad, from Zagreb who does this same schtick to a "T".....over which we of course tease him mercilessly.
