I love his quote/performance in true romance about being the Anti Christ

I have a feeling that 911 is still on the minds of all the SNL players. And all those comedians who've been entertaining the troops of late. None of them have spoken out yet.

I've only seen Walken as a hard-hearted villian - on screen. I thought he was playing himself. This is an eye-opener!

For those who weren't watching:
"The Continental" (Walken) is off the "Cham-pahn-yah" and foie gras ever since "the frogs stabbed Colin Powell in the back" at the U.N. Patriotic substitutes of Andre's Cold Duck, cream cheese stuffed Bugles and Combos (what was the motto quoted?) are offered. This cramps The Continental's style with the young ingenue, but it gets worse when she discovers his video collection.
A hilarious touch: The Continental's smarmy and pretentious French idioms have been replaced with Yiddish. LOL!

I think the French actually did us a favor, Their actions showed us why the U.N. is an anti-american organization that only want's our money. I'm pleased to see SNL slamming the French and Germans for their ignorance of history and how much we sacrificed for them.

Nothing is better than Walken's monologue in Pulp Fiction, where he gives the young Bruce Willis his Dad's Pocketwatch, explaining how he was able to, uhhhm, Smuggle it out while being tortured in the war. It's a classic.

Walken is DEEP! I don't know how many layers there are to the man, more than I can imagine I am sure. And he is funny off the cuff too, I have seen him just PARALYZE Jay Leno with quips from the couch!

I liked the line in the intro
"the Iraqis have been ignoring the UN for 15 years. Why can't we ignore them for 10 days and then go back to pretending we care"
To: Travis McGee
Yes, the "Continental" on skit on SNL -- hilarious!
He has complained that he always gets weirdo acting roles because evidently he's just a really nice average guy. He's been married to the same woman for eons and keeps a low profile in "real" life.
I also loved him in Annie Hall, where he played Diane Keaton's wacko brother who drove Woody and Annie to the airport in the rain. That, too, was priceless!
To: CarmelValleyite
what's up with these cameos by will farrell , britney spears, and steve martin?
To: CarmelValleyite
He is one of the few Hollyweirdos who I would love to have a long conversation with. James Woods is another one.
