For this Saturday's Recall Gray Davis Rally in Sacramento we were hoping to find a small band (ya know a small brass band that knows a patriotic or festive tune or two).

One of the Event Coordinators for the rally thought they had something lined up that would work perfectly but the people were in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA - ack!

Since there will be a huge crowd and a significant media presence we really would benefit from some folks dressed up in patriotics clothes or colors adding some festive noise (before and after the rally). It will also help draw more people from the surrounding area.

Come on, we just voted him in, and you can't say anything new has come to light since then, that we didn't already know.

It will be an interesting experiment, with the Demorats in complete control of the state gov't, how long will it take for Californians to figure out that the Demorats are responsible for the mess the state is in?

The Governor lied and hid the true size and seriousness of the budget deficit in order to gain re-election. Several days after the election he revealed he had been hiding the truth and that the budget was actually $35 BILLION and that there would be a need for massive tax increses and slashes to health care, education, police and fire services.

Well guess what - when you are a corrupt man who uses lies and deceptions to hide the failures of your administration and the destruction that will come to the families who will vote - all in order to gain re-election - the only recourse for the burned electorate is recall.

This will be just a *few* more people than you and I were used to with the Dump Davis rallies last year! :D

Sorry, didn't vote for him then, and for plenty of good reasons regarding his actions in office, let alone he's a Demorat. When the voters brought him back, I figured they wanted more of the same, and they are getting it.

Saundra - Deal on all accounts!

It will be fun to just be there amongst so many patriots in California who are willing to make the sacrifice to have their voices heard even as the establishment runs away cowardly.

Another GOP leader - Senator Ross Johnson - today came out against the recall. We know from history this is also what happened with Prop 13 - and those who did came to feel the heat at the ballot box for years to come.

Perhaps history will repeat itself!
