Jones has a great voice. But my vote for "best voice" of all time goes to Richard Burton. Oh, that's tough competition. Really tough. When I can't decide who's got the best voice, I'll err on the side of the American. Have you heard Jose Ferrer as Iago? So deliciously eeeeeeevil. "I hate the Mooooooor." Wonderful voice.

New York Times: Bush linked to dark side!
Too funny! Similar to the joke about what if George Bush demonstrated he could walk on water?

The Lion King speaks! Way to go Mufasa, the circle of life begins when Saddam is DOA.
Now they are going to be calling him Uncle Tom. I will call him Darth Vadar Lord of the Sith.

As did Churchill and a whole host of people. I was quite prone to stuttering and couldn't pronounce many sounds correctly growing up. Now my only issue is emphasizing "r" and deemphasizing "t" when I speak.

I imagine some jaws were on the floor, particularly given the political leanings of the sort of people who would inhabit a Performing Arts Center. I wonder how long it'll take for people to start calling him George Bush's lawn jockey? UNC-Pembroke is mostly for Native Americans, notably Lumbee Indians. These Indians do NOT mess around. They're the ones who surrounded a KKK rally with pickup trucks and shotguns back around 1960 and "persuaded" the Klan to leave Robeson County.

We can no longer play games," Jones said Tuesday at the Givens Performing Art Center. Exactly. The game is over, America doesn't hold hands with cheaters. I have been embarrassed that we played this ridiculous game with the UN debating society-but know why we needed to do so. So be it.
Now is the time for America to stand tall and call this game for what it is, a pretend game where the rules change according to those willing to subvert their own resolutions in favor of Saddam's dangerous sport. Saddam's days of mocking America are over, he is lucky, after the golf war, that he still has his mad head attached to his ugly shoulders.
Let the UN continue to prove it is powerless and unable to enforce its own laws, if 12 years plus ONE MORE CHANCE are not enough, then something is seriously wrong with this ineffective group. The game is over. And it is.
GO AMERICA!

I may be wrong about this, but didn't JEJ do voiceovers for Rush Limbaugh early on?I think you're referring to Rush's then call screener who, I believe, is a Freeper.

I vote for Jesse Ventura's voice as the best. I think his voice is the main reason he won the governorship of MN. Leslie Nielsen and Steven Wright have underrated voices as well. But JEJ is definitely top-ten.
Back to JEJ... (this one from the "who cares?!?" dept.)
Once David Letterman had a top ten list of phrases that sound funny when spoken by James Earl Jones, then JEJ came out to read the list. Can't remember most of them, but one was "Neo-Synephrine".

I think he does it by choosing his words carefully. The charm is that if he hadn't been a stutterer he probably wouldn't have developed his talent as well as he has. He has become a master of American English, adding the melody that the best African-American speakers bring to the language.

re: We all needed this boost!)))
You know, we did need this. I like to think that we ignore all these Hollywood nimrods, but their lack of support for the country that makes them so rich is a definite downer.
